This is what it needs

This game is great when you start but gets boring and simple. If it were multiplayer we could compete to hunt and play and have more fun.

CARNOVOIRS!

I love this game but I wish the old version would be a separate game so I could play it the old way but I give this app a five star rating and it won’t let me change the sensitivity

Sounds like a rant but I really do love it

First off: Love the reskin you guys did for the game recently. It makes those animals fit in better with the original feel of the game, which I appreciate since this is the only version I’ve gotten to play. And I also love that you added another Easter egg! Adding the hidden lake was fine too, though I remember stumbling upon that swamp for the first time. It was a bit confusing. However, I’ve always wondered: why can’t we climb buildings in these games? Because you could in the original and I figured since this is a port, it’d be exactly like that. Sure, some man-made walls like in the observatory in Delpheaus Hills let you get on them, but not the bunker next to it or its stone arches. Or the huts in Fort Ciskin. Or the rock ceilings of a cave in Vengar Fjords and in Manya Jungle. Also that stone bridge at the very north of Manya Jungle as well. There’s no interaction there, we just fall through. And I’d like to actually USE a real bridge! (just thought of something: you’re hunting raptors on Ravaren’s Bridge and because it’s a small creature, the angry raptor can jump up said bridge the way you came to attack you and you have to take it down as you cross the bridge! Same thing goes for the Yeti in ice age, if animals and humans can cross the bridge on Dry Nodus Lake, it makes it a bit more challenging instead of having that canyon of sea water between you.) We just clip through anything that’s not a mountain. I can’t even climb up on a rock to get a better shot and I have to aim through it. Really, that’s my biggest complaint. I can’t get on top of something so simple, meanwhile a mint-condition Dinosaur Wall in the Manya Jungle can’t protect me at all from the fury of a charging T. Rex. (Very ironic considering the Fort Ciskin description. But I think that happened in the original too so, it isn’t your doing.) But besides this complaint, I don’t have any other problems with the game. I really do love it and play it constantly. And if you guys plan on adding more stuff, my suggestion would be: a Dilophosaurus to add another small/medium sized carnivore. And another map like The Ancient Temple or The Pyramids of Shmu-Hadron would be great. After all, one of the best things about this game is still its lore. Imagine the surprise many people would get entering the temple for the first time and hearing the haunting voice because they’ve never played the original game. All we see in the mobile port is what remains from the colonization efforts. There’s nothing from before that, and I think that should change. EDIT: I’d love to add it to the Facebook thread but seeing as I do not have an account, (and honestly don’t have any interest in creating one) perhaps someone at Tatem could copy and paste this on the Facebook post? Thanks for getting back to me, it was more than I expected.

Button problems

A week after the newest update a strange occurrence has been happening every time I try to select a gun it doesn’t work, I have to press outside of the gun menu to change it, this glitch has also been happening to ice age hunter please fix this ☹️

I have bought both Pro versions of Carnivores and I seem to be experiencing the same problems in both games. While hunting, I’ll have the crosshair of whatever weapon I’m using lined up perfectly on the animal. However when I tap the fire button, there is no indication that I’ve hit the animal. I’ll fire multiple rounds, all while perfectly aimed, and all my shots will miss even though I’m aiming at a target as large as Iguanodon. As I said I have experienced the same issue in Ice Age Pro. Please take a look at this hit registration issue

Great gameplay
The.Master.Gamer

I’ve been playing Dinosaur Hunter for practically half of my life now— And I enjoy the idea of it quite well. However, I agree that this game should meet more standards; And be updated more often since it is the only mobile app from the Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter series. Being true that Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter Reborn has been a bigger work in progress, including the fact that its graphics are very well improved apart from this mobile version, and Reborn acquires more hunting perks; I feel like it’s although fair to switch your eyes to this app often, updating it regularly every 2-3 months. Okay— First things first— The recent reskinning on some of the dinosaurs, I have to point out that it made me upset. The other skins that came with the certain dinosaurs when they were released in the game were more original; But now it feels like the reskins gave them the common colors that varied through every dinosaur in the game. It’s not only that, but there SHOULD be more dinosaurs, more diverse wether they’re soaring in the sky or lurking in the ocean’s depths. Also, the graphics are fairly good— But can be improved with smoothing and extra key details. I’m not saying that you have to turn this completely into Reborn, but give this mobile game more thought. With more work, I believe this game is only a couple steps away from #1.

Overall great game

Great game

This game has been enjoyable for awhile now but soon gets boring and repetitive. Perhaps a few new items or a co op mode to make the game fresh again.
