Your heart rate provides insight into how efficiently you’re training, and gives you a way to quantify improvements. With zone training you can yield different benefits and are appropriate at different times during a training plan, wether that is weight loss or improved cardiovascular performance.

Zone training gives you focus. Measuring your heart rate and keeping within your zones can help you from overtraining. Overtraining can lead to exercise addiction which can lead to negative physiological and psychological effects, constant muscle soreness, elevated resting heart rate, burnout, reduced variability, elevated blood pressure, lack of appetite and even becoming moody.

- Viewing your heart rate in Graph mode, will impact your battery life when the App is automatically (the icon with the wheel at the top) adjusting the XY-Axis. Apple Watch

Will not pair or detect Apple Watch so the app is non functional on Apple Watch, despite loading perfectly. It recognizes the Watch but the sensor is non functional. Very intriguing app otherwise. Great design.

Doesn’t detect
robsnotes4u

Will not detect Apple Watch 4 or sync with iPhone 10xs Max. Sensor not found. Just spins. Hooked up to my iFit Bluetooth sensor once. The app would be great if those things worked. I contacted through twitter. Answered my first question then nothing after

Finally a heart rate app with alarms
Hutch4434

I have searched the App Store for a long time for a heart rate app that will give a voice prompt or alarm so you don’t have to look at your watch or phone every few minutes. This one does both. I haven’t put it thru all the paces as far as all the other features, but for what I need it fits the bill.

Almost perfect
OllyiL

Tells me when I drop out of a heart rate zone - the only app I’ve found to actually do this. However I would love if it also told me when I enter BACK into the heart rate zone too!
