Canvas Designer lets novices and professionals alike compose designs from a variety of graphical and artistic elements and colors. Open a template and simply create your unique designs in seconds with one tap, or dig deeper into the settings for full control.

Create your own library and use as many elements as you like in your designs.
- ARCS draws curves in different shades
- FADE creates smooth backgrounds in different colors

Each element has a set of properties that controls its appearance. This allows you to modify and fine-tune every aspect of your design.

This has a lot of potential. The interface has a lot of options and settings to find and experiment with. I think that "experiment" is the operative word here as it's not a simple app to learn. But very cool possibilities. Combine the output of this with Photoshop Touch or Pages and you've got a serious design tool. I have to say though the predefined template modules, even with the editing options will get old. But that can be addressed with updates.

Why Give Me Options I Don't Really Have?

If you give me the option to edit a canvas at the maximum resolution you allow on an iPad 3 (which should be much higher, btw) at your highest quality but it crashes *every* time the image is redrawn, then it really isn't an option, is it? And might I add, this not being an option *isn't* an option. Why would I bother creating artwork at low resolution? It doesn't even stop crashing when I close all the programs I have running in the background. And why do I have to edit one of your templates rather than create my own work from a blank canvas? Your app certainly has potential but it has a long way to go before it's even usable. You have a lot of work to do, and when you do so successfully I'll be happy to change my rating as appropriate to an improved version. In fact... I'll be extremely happy.

Many other photo editing apps can do the same thing as this app but they are also easier to use, cheaper and better quality results. I'm still unsure how the huge investment of time it takes in understanding this program pays off in the end with anything useful. Recommend passing this one by until developer figures out what they really want to accomplish with this app.

For 2.99, this needs a vocabulary explanation for the first time user. It also needs more design elements to work with minus the standard hearts and flowers. More lines and shapes to be added. I'm sorry I spent $$ on it, it should be free at this point, as it needs alot of work....but has good potential!

Awesome app, good for both novices and experienced designers, and offers functionality you can't find anywhere else in the App Store. My only request would be the ability to create custom canvas sizes, and maybe offer a bit more variety in the presets.
