Seriouly dissatisfied with the speed

It takes seven seconds to connect to online dictionaries, and I have very fast wifi speed. Absolute caveat to buyers. Unless there is a way to improve the speed in the future, this app is useless.
Great for German students

I'm taking a German class and I couldn't live without canoo.net. Having it in the palm of my hand is extremely useful. This app formats the website for handheld devices and it works great. Of even let's you view horizontally! My only wish is that they used a different dictionary. I can't stand LEO as it is too vague. Perhaps they can include BEOLINGUS in their next release. Worth the money. Oh and it is really fast, I'm not sure what the other guys problem was.

I use it quite frequently, since it is quick and very well structured. It's definitely a must-have for students and also for Germans. Such a great help - and it's free! I love it and I cannot confirm any complaints about speed issues. It works as it should.

I regularly use canoo.net for the iPhone to look up some verbs and how they are conjugated. The interface allows for efficient word entry and the look up speed is fast (<2s). It's a great addition to the canoo.net web version.

My German is quite good, whereas my husband is still a beginner with the language. We both find this application useful! I would find it even more useful if it included definitions of the words, but the access to an online dictionary is useful.

I like this ap very much, it was design for the iPhone. I wish it worked in full screen for the iPad. Has great features, but so small. This is very good and useful product.

I cannot buy the original version, even though I want to!! When i push buy now button, app store doesn't open and i get home screen again. Why???
A Desperate Plea

This application was a phenomenal resource for any student of the German language. Sadly, the developer has been promising an ios6 compatibility update for months upon months (as can be gleaned in the product description). The bottom-line is that because Apple refuses to allow us to rollback software on products we own, and developer seems to have abandoned the product, those that have purchased (unlocked) the full product are fundamentally screwed! A word to anyone interested in this product, don't waste your bandwidth until the developer releases an update.
