Worked great before the update

Used to work, now I can't get anything into the app to print. Doesn't show up in any context menus. Useless. Nice job on the update.

I had tried everything before and finally tried this app and it worked with no problems. I was able to print from my emails and photo library. So far so good, I recommend.

It is so frustrating that in 2016 anyone should have so much difficulty printing a document from ANY device. This app does not print what is on the page correctly, with no adjustments offered. What is wrong with these companies, that they can not simpler make basic stuff work as it should, easily and consistently. Just stupid design and bad business.

I had a old style all in one Canon Laser printer which does not support apple air print protocol. It was a pain to try to print anything to this printer through my iPhone. However after I found this app, everything is perfect now. This app provides much more powerful functions than the apple air print driver. Now I can print or scan with my iPhone without any pain any more, which does its job even better than those air print printer. Thank you Canon for bringing this app to IOS.

Department IDs

This app is required when you use department IDs, as AirPrint can not send a department ID. You need to use this apps Web Browser to print webpages. There are folders available (Documents and Downloads) in the app, but there are no instructions on how to add documents to those folders. I can not find a way to print emails through the app from the Mail app on the iPhone or iPad.

Works but not well

I'm using the app to print over wifi and it works for the most part but I would expect it to work on other networks vice only wifi. I'm trying to print to my network printer using a vpn and this app completely disconnects the moment I leave wifi even though I'm connected via vpn leaving the network part kinda useless.

Works great on my iPad. I am finally able to print to the BIG Canon laser printer at my KW real estate office. It connects directly with my Google Drive. You need to open whatever document you want to print from WITHIN this application. It does NOT add a printer that you can select from the normal print menu in other applications. It was able to find the Canon printer on the company's wifi network, I entered my company username and password, and then all was good. Asks for permission to sync up with my google drive. I navigate to the PDF I want, open from within this app, and send the file to the printer. Even allows you to select the special multipurpose tray when you are using your own paper stock. I love it. Now I don't have to log onto the company PC just to print some flyers or such.
