What’s with the Al’s?

I love playing this game but I WISH that whoever owns this game would allow someone proficient in Canasta to reprogram it....The Al’s put down 3 of a kind when the deck is frozen....they meld when the deck is frozen..I played a hand and my opponent initially melded with 1 face card and a wild card....per Canasta rules to initially meld or if the deck if frozen you must be holding two face cards matching the top card in order to pick up the deck....that’s why no one can capture the discards.....for lack of a better term, they play stupid... I get so frustrated playing this game, because I used to play with 3 friends and we had some awesome Canasta games....but this is like playing with beginners.....and I have it on the HARD setting......I’ve read reviews from 3 years ago when people citing the same issues....well I’m moving on....it’s not worth playing this and watching stupidity..... Wanted to add this.....someone wrote in a review that it is basically cheating to hold 2 cards of a kind in your hand when you have already melded those cards and the discard pile is frozen....1. There is no written rule to that effect....2. That’s just being called a savvy player....capturing a frozen discard pile can build a slew of points....it’s called survival of the fittest and I’ve won many games by doing this as I’m sure most of you have....

PLEASE agent the developer of this game to get some PROFESSIONAL advice on this game there are SOOOO many errors in this game that need to be addressed to make it more enjoyable to play

Working on natural Canasta. The AI will throw away the 7th card and then put a wild card in place causing u to lose 200 points. Really needs some major adjustments

I love this game. You can set the card draw and score. I don't buy games but glad I did this one. Just wish you could play with real people.

Wish I had read the reviews before buying. No button to ASK, rules not followed, no difficulty levels. Not much different from the free.

The tech who wrote this program did not do a very good job on the partner AI. It is incomprehensible most of the moves the partner makes. It should go back to the drawing board for much needed updating

Do NOT waste your money. Very aggravating that the coder does not know the rules, strategy or goal of the game. Your game partner will avoiding red Canastas & prematurely put a wild card on the meld. Or after a meld is turned into a Canasta, they will pickup the discard pile when the top card contains another card for the already completed Canasta. Yet at other times, your partner will not pick up the discard pile when able to do so & it contains a top card for one of your already established melds. And your partner does not know how to be patient, and wait 12-16 turns before using wildcards to establish initial melds. If playing 2-card draw & only 1 card remains in the draw pile, the game ends without allowing the next player to draw the remaining 1 card & to finish their turn. Also in 2-card draw & 2 cards remain in the draw pile, after the last 2 cards are drawn, the game ends but does not allow that last player to add to their melds or to discard therefore completing their turn.

Very frustrating to have partner discard a card that should be put on a meld. Guess to be fair, the opponents do the same thing. But if you’re are going to build a game, program it properly.

The object of the game is not to see who goes out first but who makes the most points!!! I have seen my partner play a wild card with a pair instead of playing the wild card on a meld that already has six of a kind. The game would be more fun if these things were fixed,
