Great looking app but
Denny94117

Love the quality and ease ic the new app including many settings in a great looking settings section. At this time I cant get Dropbox to connect in either iphone or ipad apps, when selecting allow it attempts to authorize but fails. Plenty of time before the hardware is released sept 16....please fix Dropbox, great looking new app

App incompatible with iPadOS 13.1
emdru

Unfortunately, Apple has not yet approved the version of the app compatible with the latest official release of OS13.1. Looking through the documentation, however, I believe that this will be a good product when it works, but as of now, the hardware is useless to me.

Does the job perfectly

I was looking forward to the release of Cam Ranger 2 and obtained one of the first units. I have been very pleased. The unit and iPad/iOS software has met all my expectations.

superior product
WaldenK

i use camranger2 in conjunction with my Z7 in news shoots. the immediate FTP upload functionality is extremely well implemented and, for me, is alone worth the price of the device. also, not insignificantly, and rare in these times, camranger customer support is top notch. highly recommended: product+app.

Not working for Fuji
ExpProvideo

Didn’t think anything would be as bad as the Fuji remote app. It’s running a close second.

Error - Unable to connect to CamRanger
mtbRIDER16

This highly frustrating setup process has come to a screeching halt with an error code when trying to connect the app to the CamRanger 2 over the CamRanger WiFi: “Error - Unable to connect to CamRanger.” I’m pretty close to getting a return authorization for the whole setup. I want it to work, but this is not a good first impression.

Works well
HesThatGuy

I’ve wanted something like the CamRanger for years. Shooting architecture while tethered to a laptop was too cumbersome on the move but the trade-off was that I could sometimes miss issues on the small camera LCD. The CamRanger app works well, and is fast. It only takes a second or two to review photos on the iPad. Controlling the camera from iPad is great too.

Weddings

I love it! I get shots that couples have no idea how I got them!

Absolutely indispensable, and better than the original Camranger in every way.
Sarge_

As an architectural and commercial photographer, the original Camranger changed everything about the way I work for the better. With the increased range and speed of cam range or two, everything is faster, easier, and better than before. Highly recommended!

Works GREAT on my iPad
Da Behr

So far I have been very pleased with both the app and the unit. I have been able to control my Nikon D500 at least a 100 yards away. Focus stacking controls work really well! You can also set up “burst” shots. So far... solid A with great customer support.
