I dont get why they use such a small photo for the stuff you are trying to find, it pretty much blocks out all the detail. Dont waste your time
I try to take a photo of a jersey on my wall which registers as red and white wooden wall
I’ve used other similar apps on android. I switched to iPhone and tried this app. OMG! I collect and need to find info on various items. I have a very rare vintage Pepsi bottle, I took a picture with this app...the answer I received was “bottle with white and blue label”. Umm, I knew more about this item just by looking at it, even if I never heard of Pepsi. Totally worthless!!!
I searched for a unique bra and it searched the web for blue tank top and the only result was a random YouTube video that had nothing to do with clothing. This is a bs app.
literally, it doesn’t allow you to delete your account, i think that’s pretty immature. you can’t force someone to have or keep an account
I posted an unknown red tool and it came back “red tool”. I little more accurate than the guess four pics down - golden retriever dog. Something tells me this was a joke app created by stoners wanting to pass time. “Yo dude, what do we call this (insert Bevis laugh).” Google Lens, already in the Google app, nailed it immediately as a glass cutter.
When I first downloaded this app it wasn’t bad, but now... it is terrible!! It can’t recognize ANYTHING! If I were the app developers; I would be TOTALLY embarrassed!!! Like I said...and I didn’t think it could get any worse, but it is unfathomable JUST HOW bad it has gotten. Will be deleting app. On second thought, I might keep it around so when I do something to make me feel stupid...I can comeback to this app...get my drift?
Thought it might be helpful when a client finds an item they like but we don’t know the manufacturer. First photo I took was of a crystal light fixture, the app scanned it and showed me options for white wall shelves. Second pic was of an iron chandelier, it showed me wine racks. Third picture I took was of a candle in a white and gold metal tin with the brand name showing. It read it as blue and white ceramic jar. Deleted the app after that.
