WhatsDay makes the number of days until a specified event permanently visible on your Homescreen directly inside the app icon itself. The remaining days are therefore constantly visible without opening a calendar app.
Whatsday is a simple reminder-app (e.g. birthday reminder) and sends Push Messages as a reminder (like messages from WhatsApp). Simply insert a date and an event like using a calendar or planer and it is always visible on the Homescreen how many days are left. Just have a look at the countdown within the icon!

I liked the idea of not having to open the app to see the remaining days, but it's a day off. Needs to be fixed.
Display problem with iPhone 5.0.1

The app displayed correctly on the icon, but upon uploading the 5.0.1 iPhone software, it no longer shows the date. I have to launch the app to see, which isn't as helpful. Also, before the update, when the app seemed to work, the day did decrement on the icon before the app itself, which may relate to a time zone issue. I guess I will need to go back to a hard copy calendar until the bugs are fixed.

Will only do one date , waste of my time and money, Most people have more than one important event going on in their lives. Don't buy it!!!

Yes... It is busted by 1 day in the home screen view. Its such a simple app....you would think they could at least do that for 99 cents! & it is for one event only.... So it works really well for me!! This is a single minded app for a single minded dude :) if for example you really want to get out of the army one day...this will tell u exactly how many days you have left! Hopefully you can find a more positive use, like waiting for a wild white cat....()

I was looking for a simple app that would count down the number of days to a certain day. The key thing for me is that I wanted the number of days remaining to be displayed on the badge counter so I see that number every time I look at my iPhone without having to open an app. This app does exactly what I want, no more and no less. So for me, it is perfect.
