I'm using this and fantastical. I use fantastical primarily, but since I downloaded this I can't stop using it. Has a lot of nifty features.

A God Send
It looks like another promising app has gone into no more updates land. If you have an older phone and are finding your apps slowly becoming unusable, this app might be for you. However, it looks as if this is not going to be updated anytime soon as the link to its homepage no longer works, comments speak of not being able to contact the developer, and there are bugs in ios 11+. It looked like a good idea. Sad that I won’t be able to give it an honest try. I give it 3 stars as it looks as if it was pretty decent at one time and to applaud the developer for venturing into what appears to be a field that is becoming tougher and tougher to break into and to continue to survive. It appears to be the cycle. New technology (personal computers, operating systems, the internet, cell phones, smartphones)...at first everyone and their cousin can break in to make a contribution and some money....but in the end, only the big ones (usually owned or eventually owned by the same people) survive. Just to clarify, I said it appears that the developer is not going to update anymore. It’s still in the app store, so maybe the developer will look at this post, see that there are those that see the app as promising, and be encouraged to give it one more try. Maybe it could happen?
Awesome…but buggy

I love this app. The UI and the functions *make* me want to love this app. Using the calendar gui to display tasks is exactly what my brain needs. Event Book is clean (including typography – thank you!), simple and powerful – but it’s buggy. Can’t stay on the same date when I create an item, loses some created items and it crashes every once in a while. That said, considering everything else out there (including Fantastical) I give it 4 stars. I look forward to seeing what the developers can do with this app…including expanding on the themes.

I really enjoy the app! The layout is great and the controls are quite natural. However, it would be great to have the app use iPhone notifications. Not having notifications for my events makes the app kind of useless. It would be great if this addition would be added. Thank you for the great app!
Great app, but needs improvements

Love the design, the colors, and the layout. One thing that would make the app more useful is adding push notifications for reminders and other events. That would make the app much more useful and make it the perfect tool, bring it above the iOS calendars app

I've used them all (calendar apps) up until now I was using tempo and it was missing something. I couldn't really say what it was, but then I re-downloaded Event Book and it has come a long way! Easy to use, at a glance awesomeness and simple UI. Keep it up guys!!

Makes organizing events in your day a snap. Great how it syncs w/ the iPhone's calendar app, so anything put in this app is automatically transmitted to your computer calendar as well.
