Excellent alternative brain exercise

Overloaded on sudoku, nurikabe, hashi, solitaire? Go back to the basics with these high production value quizzes from Mathtoons and polish your number sense in the process. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars here is the tendency for the app to reset itself after spending any length of time in another app. It is often necessary to switch to a scratchpad like Notability to work through a given problem, but doing so kills current progress.
It doesn't get better than this!

I honestly think it's a very nice and useful app. Only thing is, when I downloaded it and began to use it, it kept crashing (closing). Even if I tried to get in and use the app again, it would keep doing the same. It would be nice if that problem got solved.

This is my Favorite App!!!!!! I love the way it's designed to force you to ponder & solve the problem without the use of aids like paper, pen or calculator. It forces you 2 use your brain only to solve the problem! It sharpens your math wits! Great, great app! I do it everywhere I go in -5 minute increments at work on break or on the bus! It makes me smarter! Thanks creator! Also, the music is pleasant to listen to as you solve the problem. Yeah math!
This does not teach calculus, it's a quiz

It's a multiple choice quiz, it assumes you've already studied the subject. As I haven't learned calculus, this app gets me nowhere. It should advertise itself as a quiz to avoid negative reviews by people like me. If you know calculus, I guess this app might have some value.

This app is a great way to help Calculus students practice important topics before tests and quizzes. It offers a variety of difficulties to help any student in need and is a great way for teachers to get their students motivated by having a fun time studying. Due to the game-like nature of the design students are driven to beat their previous scores and are having fun learning This app is very easy to use and a much more inviting study tool than other similar app; however, I would love to see this app expand and offer more topics from Calculus and possibly other math subjects such as algebra.
