Best iPhone Game Ever?
Itsrandizzle.

Its the best one I’ve found. Plus, when I deleted it and reinstalled it, I started playing it again and I got completely different cards. I like that its an offline game. Sometimes its hard to get an internet connection, depending on where you are. The idea, the graphics, the dialog, the difficulty is all spot on. Its conveniently paced, you can pick up an already started game anywhere. I feel this is a strategy game that can really challenge you if you want to play a perfect match. I am geeked for calculords 2.

All around amazing!
Fruzzles

Still haven’t found another game that is anything like this. You can win without any of the in-app purchases, it is not a pay to win model. The overall pacing of the game works quite well, each zone favors a distinctive strategy and can be beat with minimal grinding of older content for the right cards. If you are a completionist, the medal and card collecting are reasonable and there is plenty of replay value. Even the text is entertaining, anyone who loves gaming should appreciate the “hate-bit” reference. I’d happily throw another $5 at this game for more content.

Zero Replayability

UPDATE: Level 20 is the MAX level. No way to improve your Base points beyond Level 20. Disappointing. The 8-bit graphics and gameplay are really great. Almost every aspect of the game is 5-star... ...but... ...After playing 1 day, my XP multiplier reached 0. Any progress would be nice, but once the multiplier reaches 0, all progress IS HALTED. As the game teaches, 0 times anything is 0. You can play defeated foes to get more cards, but your XP stops to increase. If the multiplier were to be anything other than 0, the game would be replayable, but for now, don’t expect long term satisfaction. ò¿ó

Clever but cheats egregiously
...rmk

This is a clever idea with mediocre, at best, graphics. A deck builder in which the player must play from a random hand of cards whose play cost is paid from combinations of somewhat randomly generated integers and the three operators: plus, minus & times. Not a game for the innumerate. Its worst failing is the egregious degree of cheating by the computer opponent. Few things are more annoying than apps that are not bound by the same rules as are the player. We expect some cheating by computer opponents. Too much of it is just plain unpleasantly So a five star game demoted to three stars for poor sportsmanship.

I quit my job to play Calculords

Worth it.

Loved it

I really enjoyed the math puzzles, but I resent being labelled a nerd. My mom says I'm handsome.

10/10 Would Seanbaby Again

I saw, I nerdgasm'd, I conquered. The perfect blend of simple arithmetic, tower defense, CCG, 8-Bit goodness.

Great! More levels/harder difficulty please!
mr. honk

An amazing combo of using your brain and an 8-bit turned based game. I hope the creators make some more levels!

Easily the best game in a long time
Pyro head

I say it's the best game in a long time, not just because it is an original game with amazing art, characters, loot system, gameplay, and so much more, but because it is truly what mobile games should be. No ads, No greedy energy scheme (e.g. Candy Crush only allowing so many plays in a specific amount of time), no pay wall, and purchased extras are reasonable in price and pay out (I know cause I've bought all of them). I love this game. I hope many more people will play and share it, and I hope it becomes the next big trend in mobile gaming.

The first real game I've played on iOS, no annoying ads, just challenging and rewarding game design. Final boss is a great challenge! Kudos to Seanbaby/Ninja Crime, I'll be getting Calculords 2 when it comes hope.
