CALC is really clever.
CALC does live math expressions: From simplifying even the simplest like "1+ -2", that you can type the same way you'd on a paper (without the need for "negating" a number afterwards) ... to more advanced expressions like "1/3 + -( 3 x 9(log(4;8) + sind(90)))" where you can even specify a base for the log() function, use natural input without the need to insert a multiplication symbol or worry if you did the trig. function "sinus" in RAD or DEG.

Ugh I just want to do math

I have used this calculator for a number of years. However the most recent update throws up a dialogue that I’m supposed to swipe down to close but it doesn’t close and now I can’t do any kind of math to save my life! ~~~~ I received a dev response email today. I can’t tell who is being lame here. iIs it Apple because I only received the email about the developer response today, Oct. 2018? Or is it the developer because they somehow backdated their response, which is dated the day after I posted this review. I suspect it’s both! And restarting the app I didn’t help! You had a bad update own it!

Most of my math is medical and so the basic iPhone app meets my needs; but, CALC Smart works well on the iPad, which does not have a native calculator. And, as a bonus, the watch app (series 4) works great!

I like everything about this app, but for some reason the buttons at the bottom, like the 0 and such, aren’t working for me! Please fix this. No other app I’ve found sufficiently replaced this one.

I searched and searched for a decent calculator for my Apple Watch. After deliberating the cost, I finally went for this one. It has the features I need/want, and works pretty well. I like the haptics feedback when typing. For some reason, I couldn’t add the complication to my watch face from the phone app, so I had to do it on my watch. It took me a bit of time to figure out how this app works, but I think it’ll be easy and fast to use with time/practice.

This App is simply fantastic! I rarely comment on Apps; this is only the second review I have ever done. Just as a standalone calculator or a standalone unit converter, the App would be outstanding. However, it does so much more. The fantastic functions are far more detailed and sophisticated than I am capable of using. Nevertheless, regardless of the degree of your math needs, if you use numbers in any way, this App will make your life easier. It seems that the developer had each of us in mind. It is ingenious how much functionality the developers were able to put into such a small platform. Yet in spite of the multiple capabilities packed into it, the App is easy to use and becomes intuitive after a little practice. To top it all off: the developers care deeply about their product and especially their customers, a rarity these days. I made a comment on their website, never expecting to hear from them, and received an answer immediately. Not only did I receive an answer, but also the suggestion was incorporated into the App on the next update, within days. Do not hesitate to buy this App. It is undervalued and you will not regret having purchased it.
Crashes on Apple Watch

Serviceable calculator on iPhone, but even when I could get it to work on the watch, it was wonky. Now it won't even load on the watch. Don't bother; there are better calcs out there.
