Hmmm

Amaysin

Where's the A.I and Multiplayer?

No AI ..... Really?

Cordsmith

As the opening ad states, the board game is available, play this with your friends. So why bother with an Ipad version with no AI? Silly.

Beware! No A.I.

Quizboy

There is no computer player. This in itself would not rate a one star, but the fact that they conceal this fact does.

No AI

Mad machine monkey

That should have been in the description.

Ok for the price

Reviewee

I'm in agreement that there should exist an AI player. That said, if I want an impromptu game with a buddy and my copy is not with me, for $0.99 and the fact I don't have to set up the board and clean up after, this app does the trick. I will gladly raise my rating when (if) CPU becomes an opponent choice.

Complete?

Lost SIM Fan, 1 of many

No AI and no online multiplayer mode. This is purely a pass and play, which should have been noted in the description.

Good production value, but fatally flawed.

Veraxus

The production value here is excellent. This LOOKS like a top-notch, high quality game. However, it's missing two critical components of any digital board game: a tutorial and an AI to play against. This game can ONLY be played against another person physically sitting next to you. There's no AI, nor wireless or internet multiplayer... the only game mode is pass-and-play multiplayer. Likewise, there's no proper tutorial. You get a digital copy of the rulebook (and a sloppy, awkward one at that), and that's it. Good luck figuring the game out if you're new to it. Ugh. Cadwallon is a fun board game, but this app version is sloppy and incomplete to the point of being useless to most people. Fix it, and it could be a 5-star game.

Not happy

Jrouff

I enjoy the board game...this is not enjoyable. Clunky design and no AI really makes this a no go.

Wasted Potential

DrJbob

This game is almost wonderful in so many ways. It looks better than most digital board games and generally has a smooth interface. That being said, it lacks virtually every where else. As stated by other reviews this is purely pass and play with no online multiplayer or AI. I was aware of this before I purchased it but it was still disappointing. No further support or updates for this game. Of the 8 scenarios you get with the physical board game, you only get the first with the digital version. Maybe one day they will come back and update and improve, but until then save your 99 cents.

DEVS - please fix scroll bar

devxx

Updated -> Wow, where did this come from? AI? Solo mode? I said AI would not be added and after almost 4 YEARS I guess I'm wrong. Thanks. I'm surprised iCloud remembered I bought this thing! I knew about no AI but for 99 cents, what the hay...kinda fun game and I doubt AI will ever be added but, like i said, 99 cents!. and DEVS, please FIX the scroll bar on side (like for rules, etc). it is VERY HARD to get it to slide up and down. thanks
