Mad Head Games has an interesting series, beginning with this game, Cadenza: Music, Betrayal, and Death. You play as the beloved daughter of Mr. Stirling, a jazz club owner in New Orleans, and a member of the jazz band, The Dixie Peppers. A ghostly one-time band member appeared at the club, played his saxophone, and caused the audience to be frozen in death. As you explore New Orleans further, you realize that someone is attempting to kill all the Dixie Peppers. You are out to stop them. There are Hidden Object games in which you must match up pairs of objects (two clocks, two books) which are hidden behind and inside other objects. In each scene, there is a Hidden Music Note, which can be collected for other awards. There are also Morphing Objects in each scene. When you find one, a Spiral appears on your screen. As usual in these games, being helpful to others gets hints for you. To travel with your Map, you jump into the conveniently-waiting taxi and point to a map location. Easy! There is also a Bonus Game at the end. To those wondering if this is a brand new game, I remember playing the free trial a few months ago. So it is an older game, but okay. I subtracted one star because some of the Hidden Object scenes are a little dark, which adds to difficulty. Still, an interesting story and fun game.

So I'm a HUGE BF fan. Always download their games every time a new one comes out. Usually when they release a game and I've already purchased it, my iPad shows that. But this time it's showing no purchase but I know I have already purchased this game! Wth big fish! This is the SECOND game that I have ALREADY PAID FOR and your calling it a NEW GAME AGAIN.? This is by far a new game. When you go and look at the history of the app it showed no new updates and that this is a new app! I have already paid for this again and it's NOT showing up as if I had already. ALL the other reviews are all gone as well!? WHY are you doing this BF?Why is the Apple Store allowing this to happen? Don't think I'm not contacting Apple about this and the other games you've wiped out all the updated history and viewers info to call it a new app! Don't be fooled by this " new game"! It's by far NEW! This game WAS new months ago! Shame on you! I will be asking for a refund and taking my money elsewhere!

This application was fun....until i got the chisel from the thugs villa and returned to the square to remove the medal from the costume shops sign. The view had changed and the sign was nowhere to be seen. I tried reloading and playing through again to no avail. Very disappointing and i wish i could get my money back for this unplayable title. Lots of good reviews i wish i could say the same. NOT HAPPY!

The game reaches a point where you need an object in a part of a scene that is no longer available. Won't buy another one of this series.

Hands down. Tough but too tough. Clever plot. Great puzzles. Highly recommended.

Game itself was just OK but when I got to the bonus game I got to a point and couldn't get any further. Very disappointed.

I too am stuck with a chisel and no where to use it. Up until this point the game was great. Somehow the center of town doesn't move anymore though and I can't see the costume sign.

Puzzles and ho screens were different but still solvable with a little thinking. I can only give it 3 stars due to glitch in bonus chapter. Same issue as others, once you get the chisel the screen doesn't let you get to where the medallion is, so no further gameplay.

Like the game till it froze up on me twice. Very frustrating. Deleted it and reloaded and the same trouble again.???
