Best player but...

Good thumbnail video even when syncing to NAS. Good Customize gesture control.. But it crashes many times that I have to give up using it. It's fine if u watch one video but if u play and stop a few video- like trying to find a video by watching 30-40 sec each and then switch to next video it will crash.

Very good media organiser. Gesture control swipe for 15s or custom the time, could swop horizontal and vertical and function is programmable. Even better u could swip horizontal TOP center and bottom with diff function. Thumbnail support can be capture at custom timing or default at 5s. Thumbnail support WD my cloud NAS. Overall this is is the best player out there in terms of customisation. One flaw is that the thumbnail will regenerate itself everytime Appa is close. Support security passcode.

Best player on iOS device..One suggestion add various resolution in the setting..Resolution on iPad is not so good.When tried to maximise resolution the sides of the video are gone..

Hangs on traversing directories on my Mac mini smb share. Also got playerXtreme. It works much better, cheaper, and the interface is easier.

I've had many video player apps over the years, this is the only one I ended up buying and keeping because it's worth it, however with the new updates I started noticing something weird that might force me to uninstall this app; background battery consumption. When this app is left running in the background, even though it's not doing anything, it uses up battery as if it's playing video, I understand that there's a lot that goes into making an app. But when I can't use my device because I watched a video in the morning and forgot to "kill the app" afterwards to come in the afternoon and find most of the battery used up, it gets kind of frustrating, I still give this app 4 stars because it's such an awesome app and huge thanks to all the developers, designers and the entire team behind it, I wish you all the best. iPad mini/iOS 9.2 Wifi. Egypt.

Exellent for auto detection and connection to my allowed SMB sharing services on my PC (Win 10) and to my allowed AFP sharing services on my MAC (Yosemite). (No extra server apps required.) Can minimize battery discharge by selecting Settings -> Files Sharing -> General Sharing ->Sharing In Background = OFF. (The default setting = ON. ) One time purchase of HD version allows installation on my iPhone and iPad Mini. Thank You !!!
