Can't find most items

As much as I love the idea of this app and it's simplicity, 90% of the products I scan are not found. They have to be really mainstream well known items that have been around for a while. It would be great to see a broader range of products recognized by this app!

I do most of my shopping online for both the convenience and the ability to peruse user-reviews of the products I'm considering. When I do shop in a store, without access to user reviews, I'm like a fish out of water -- reluctant to make any big purchases without first browsing online to see what users have said about the item. Buy or Not solves this tricky problem brilliantly. Just scan the barcode of an item you're considering and you'll instantly see a list of all the rating scores (e.g. 4 stars out of 5) and the number of ratings for that item at several online stores. I tested it out this morning at Bed Bath and Beyond, where I was looking at a coffee maker. Buy or Not showed me that one of the items I was considering was rated an average of 4.5 stars by more than 450 reviewers.

Not a sophisticated app, which is a great thing in this case. Scan a barcode, get reviews from multiple sources. History of scans, ease of use and beautiful UI earn this handy little app all of the stars.

It does the minimum of what it should do but still doesn't provide local listings. That's what's really useful- support your local economy via locally owned businesses.
