Free?

Advertising said “free.” But only 10 names are free. Somewhat misleading. I will find something else

Just started entering 1st few cards so this initial impression is favorable with the ease of editing compared to the visual capture, cropping of initial photo of Card also helpful in excluding non-relevant info. I particularly like the ability to specify groups for each entry Will update review when I attempt to access data via IOS Contacts and Cloud files to share with colleagues Hopefully more will be revealed!

Run away. Don’t get scammed

These guys are crooked. Charged me and I didn’t even know it. Then provide a difficult and arduous service storage separate from your usual contacts. Stay away

Not sure if real

Worked great

Easy does it

So simple to use. Accuracy with recognizing letters and numbers could be better but I think that's a product of varying typeset used on business cards I've scanned.

Not Perfect But Fine

I ingested around 200 old business cards in maybe 2-3 hours. The app crashed 5-6 times but to no ill effect. Parsing of card content was sometimes inconsistent for the same card. Character recognition was by no means perfect. Also doesn’t seem to flag duplicates. But all in all it worked like a charm and since my personal use is purely archival and it stores the original image to refer to it is just fine. Better than fine. A few hundred cards to go and then I will never store another and will return from trips and shows card free!! Just two incredibly stupidly designed business cards out of 200 failed to ingest! And one company’s graphics refused to photograph without enormous effort. Importing into iOS address book, into SalesForce, into Excel is huge if you need. Also knowing where and when you ingested the card is terrific. Great app in terms of utility value. Fair subscription cost. Chose on account of an independent comparative review and it’s very high App Store rating.

Worst app ever!

Can’t read English; can’t be uploaded from the United States; and I can’t figure out if I’m being charged for an app that I can’t use.

Does ok

I haven’t tried to export to excel yet.

Not quite there

It’s very fast with the scan and OCR but the accuracy is really bad. Also, I wish it would sync with my Apple Address Book. That fact that it doesn’t and isn’t accurate, makes me keep on looking for a better business card scanner.

ABBYY BCR- version 8.5.9+

CraigJ.Edgin

The developer responded and asked if I wanted to update my review-I tried to contact, but ABBYY BCR link was dead. Still- avoid this app. decent app, yet to really use this application you will need to subscribe to its “plan”. This is why I do not recommend ABBYY BCR. The plans start at (only) monthly $7.99-then add on from there. If you like pay-as-you go, then spend away.
