The minimal visuals and simplicity of this game appeal to my aesthetic. I'm not a fan of most Rogue-likes but I am enjoying this one a lot. It reminds me a lot of the first three Etrian Odyssey games on the Nintendo DS. Some runs will be over fast...I created a character who got to level 3 and immediately ran into a level 28 who slaughtered me. And some runs will give you a character who gets a lot of good items and is almost god-like for quite some time before meeting their inevitable demise. But beware-there are several issues. For starters, the game itself is originally Japanese and it is not fully translated in some parts of the interface, or in some cases not translated very well. Text is sometimes cut off or overlapped by other graphics. If you can stomach that, then you have to deal with not everything in the game being explained very well. There are a LOT of different currencies/resources in and they're all used for something different. And what you can tap on is often NOT clearly marked! I HIGHLY suggest playing on an iPad so you have an easier time tapping on things. Hopefully they'll fix these issues in future updates. In any case, I'm going to keep playing.

I love this game! My friend recommended it to me during summer camp, and from that day forward, I have been hooked on this game. It's a great way to kill time, but mostly to see how well your decision making skills are. I think of this game like a test of patients and selective choices. On my first play through, I made it to 24f with a level 47 paladin class. Now that me and my group of summer friends have this we host tournaments every summer to see who is the best player, I've only won one of our tournaments, but I keep pushing myself to get better and better. Long story short, I wanna thank everyone who made this game happen! You've shown me a whole new world of Dungeon Crawler/RPG games. Sincerely, James :39
