Good game but slow progression

Edit: new version results in higher scoring which is good. But strange, the latest default is no sound at all. At least need sound effects for audible feedback, yet even that is turned off every time the app is opened. Nice graphics and sound effects. Play itself is fun and challenging. However, progression is very slow and the same thing over and over. Spending earnings or awards for special powers results in depleting overall score, so no advantage other than trying different powers. Only other way to advance is to pay for more power. Without other incentives, it becomes monotonous and the game is tediously the same. Also the score tallying after each round takes too long. It's interesting to watch the first 10 times but waiting for it to count your score hundreds of times is a waste of time.
