I am using this app on my iPad and iPhone 6. I have created a Bookshelf of my favorite journals which is "synced" on both devices. Super useful and easy way to stay on top of my reading, I'm loving it!

The new update forces you to get an account with the developer "to sync your bookshelf". I don't need to sync my book shelf and I don't want to get an account with the developer. Now I can no longer use this app,

This is a great app for doing research. For example, it lets you search for the top journals in your field and add them to your bookshelf. There, you can access them at any time, and go to any edition of the journal for the past 10 years, and click on any article, which will let you pass the paywall and read the article. It's amazing! Reading lists coming soon, now it even synchronizes with your phone!

Excellent customer service. I couldn't access recent journals from my university. Customer support followed up with the university librarian to find out if there was anything else that could be done. Just started using this app and very satisfied.

Browzine is a front-end to journals available online from subscribing (largely academic) libraries. It is great for current awareness--having added journals to your private library, you can open it, see which journals have newly published articles, click to the table of contents and then click to read the article. It can export PDFs to almost any target through the share menu and, even better, send both citation and PDF to many bibliography managers incliude Zotero and EndNote. If you are after a specific article, it is equally easy. (I have learned from conversation with my librarian that Browzine is not able to show all journals to which a library subscribes because of publisher restrictions, so be sure to check your library's catalog before assuming you don't have online access to a journal that doesn't appear in Browzine). They have a web-based product for the desktop which, if you library has so subscribed, shows your private library. Personally, I find this less compelling, as I have bookmarks set for the journals I need to frequently access, but others might find it helpful.

After the update, the my articles tab is not working. Articles do not open and app crashes repeatedly. Needs urgent fix.
