Stopped working

danaisme

My Iphone 6 Plus stopped giving me a print option. I used to choose print and then choose my brother wifi printer. Now, I have to print directly from the app, which means I can’t easily print anything anymore. Probably Apple, not this app?

messes up the files that you scan in

Dinah Ann

When you scan in a file it writes “from brother iprint&scan” on the pdf file. I do not want this when I print out the file and I can not figure out how to erase this.

Useless scanner app on iPad

jebrian

Only scans as individual pages - ALL with the same file name which cannot be edited and which you CANNOT save as the all have the same name. The “Keep Both” option does nothing. Useless.

Works Wonderfully for me!

Kiko's Wife

It is easy to use, and works just fine.

Prefect

Gulf State Software

Very Disappointed

I am taking the printer back and uninstalling this app. It won’t work unless you agree to hand over the details of your life to Googul. I am doing my best to stop exchanging my life details for a collection of crappy Googul apps. I am sure Googul has a ton of info about me now, all the more reason not to give them any more. Come on Brother, you charge real money for the printer, do you need crappy Googul code to run it?

Quick and Easy

This printer and app has been incredible. Installed the app, found the printer on the WiFi, and printed a document. Done! It is all I needed, well done thank you.

Can’t connect

Same as previous reviewer. For some reason lately it will not recognize my WiFi. I have to restart every time and even then sometimes it still will not print.

Many many bugs & glitches.

In the most optimistic, bare bones interpretation- it does what it says it can do. It does it so poorly though that you will probably rarely, if ever, use this app. To scan from this app you literally can only control color or b&w, no resolution, no auto-crop...it can scan directly to a cloud service...if you go and manually save it and using iOS’s file system save options choose your cloud destination there. Also, it creates and saves in your scan destination a text file that says “From Brother iPrint&Scan” for EACH SCAN! Also from the app it just saves everything as .png format and with the name “image.” I’m mentioning all these because scanning from the device direct to cloud lets you pick the resolution (though the files scanned from app appear to be much higher resolution based on file size??) and names them with the time scanned, and gives some other good options. It’s like the people who did this app and the people who did the commands directly on the printer didn’t even talk to each other or attempt in any way to have similar features at both interfaces. Very frustrating.

Leaves iPad 3 users in the dark

I'm sorry I'm not a rich hipster that can afford only three latest and greatest devices for every member of the family! ONE STAR!!!!
