Very unique story lines

I really enjoyed this game! I loved how the story lines started out different and ended with a twist! Definitely start the story out with Vella.

It's really hard to find point and click adventure puzzlers that don't involve looking for a list of hidden objects. I just want to have a creative story with challenging puzzles to solve. To that end, Broken Age fits the bill. It's got an interesting concept, lovely art and lots of exploring. What I do not enjoy in the least is having a canned set of 4-5 lines that you have to use when interacting with characters. And all too often, you end up having to ask one of the questions more than once to get to the info you need to move on. And if you get the info and are still confused about your next step, you won't get any additional help. They've given you the required feedback and have nothing else to say. It's the same with scenarios. It gets super boring fast. No real clues when you get stuck. I feel better off with games like The Room or others with cute creatures that do not depend on "human" interaction (Machinarium!)

Broken age is now my favorite mobile game. This game has a riveting storyline, beautiful graphics, fun puzzles, and many other things. Although you get stuck on different parts, it’s way worth it when you figure it out. I highly recommend this to anybody.

This game is WONDERFUL. It seems a bit juvenile when you first start, but give it time and you’ll find yourself immersed and invested in an intricate, innovative storyline. Don’t be afraid to use the walkthrough to help you through sticky points now and then; as satisfying as it is to figure it out on your own, there are a couple sequences that need to be done in a very specific order. I also recommend taking the time to ask every character every question and watch all cutscenes. The voice acting in this game is just as valuable as the gameplay itself!!! With the talents of Elijah Wood, Wil Wheaton, Jack Black, and many more, not to mention witty dialogue and adult humor, it’s well worth the extra time it takes to watch the scenes, not only for the game information, but for the entertainment. Bottom Line, I love this game and I think you will too. Enjoy!

This app surprised me!

On Christmas my dad allowed me to use $10 to purchase apps anytime. And several years ago I saw this and was interested in it. However it was too expensive then. So later I came back to it and bought it. And as I played it, it was fun! They even have choices sometimes on what the character you play can say! And you can switch between the characters anytime! And there are these fun puzzles (however I had to use a walkthrough page on Google to fix or figure out the trickier puzzles, but I think some of you can do it better than I could). However I didn’t care for the way the main characters were dishonest most of the times and that this game seems to depict the adult characters as illogical and can’t understand things and the teenagers to be rash, impetuous and seeing most things. I also have a statement: not all traditions are bad, and some traditions that don’t go well with this century don’t need to be broken, but more likely fixed so we all can agree with it. And by the way, there were a few other things, like I didn’t like it when some of the characters say God’s name in vain, and I didn’t like it when one character used the word bad***. (For anybody who finds this a concern (I do) don’t worry, bad*** was only used once by a character named Alex, and God’s name in vain isn’t used very much) there also was the word “Holy smokes” used by Vella two times in the end, for anybody (including me) who don’t like Holy used in vain. Anyway, this game was pretty good. Thanks guys! This would probably be one of my favorite apps! But can you please make an update with a sequel??? That be great! Cause I already was finished with this app, and now I’m gonna be bored. ☺️. Thanks again! ????

just finished the game thought it deserved the 5 star. Tip to new players double tapping screen skips cut- scenes. Try not to instinctively hit it on the final one like i did the first time.

Best iPad game

There is no other game as well made as this one for the iPad. That the game has a full voice cast makes this game head and shoulders above most. Both adults and kids love it. Strikes a great balance between entertaining, humorous and just a bit challenging. Great for families. My daughter likes this game a lot. Highly recommend.

This is honestly one of the most amazing games I've played. It has left me speechless and wishing for more games like this. I would suggest starting with Vella (the girl) first but if you do decide to chose the boy HIS STORY DOES GET BETTER JUST KEEP PLAYING. This is a puzzle game so you might get stuck so just keep trying.

This game was incredibly story rich, with deep meaning and subtly dark, philosophical undertones, and an overall message of hope and perseverance. Uniquely beautiful artwork, wonderful music, highly enjoyable "puzzles" and exploration, and a cast of intriguing characters. This was a true gem and I hope to find more games on this level.

I'm so happy to see what this amazing game has to offer, but it's not downloading!! But according to the reviews, it a fantastic game and when it's done I will be elated to play!!
