Amazing

MissMairi2013

I use this at home and also in my classroom. My students are Deaf and their favorite prompt is: After 18 years of silence, he was finally learning to speak with his hands. The stories and poems they created are beyond wonderful, especially because they started this year absolutely hating reading and writing. When students begin to check Brainsparker as soon as they walk into my room and smile when they used to intentionally soak their notebooks in water, I know that they are truly enjoying this. We are a small Christian school and these Sparkers are perfect for anyone.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL

This app have me so many ideas of what I could write a paper on! It's amazing and I would definitely recommend this app to anyone whether they are good at writing or bad at writing it's fun either way!

Really good!!

Redeta

This app is really good for people who experience writers block and need ideas for stories

Barely inspirational

Deen319

I almost never leave reviews, but this app was so bad I wanted to clarify things a bit. It is barely inspirational if you have writers block. It has nothing to do with story prompts. Some of the Sparks are "listen to your intuition" and "just do it." Sweet, but nothing to do with anything the app description suggests. Also, the shuffling of Sparks is quite ridiculous. It moves at a snail pace and it's a while before you figure out you have to tap on one to choose it as it's shuffling. If you are going to buy this app because you have writers block, I strongly recommend against it. I am uninstalling for now. Good idea devs, but it really needs some work.

Some Creativity Required

Write_Away

I use this app at home to help me write everyday, something that has become increasingly difficult now that I have a little one. While the prompts are not as creative as I had hoped, I do like the variety the cards give me: quotes, phrases, words, questions, and photos. I haven't purchased any card packs and don't plan to, but I think the free packs are worthwhile, especially if you're trying to start a writing habit.

Good not great
