It was no help to me because I am learning but if you know something about HTML it might help you. The layout is simple but easy to use but don't buy this if you are learning like me.
I agree wasn't very helpful or useful even for someone who uses HTML. Not helpful in Keeping your code clean or for someone learning needs work and examples. Would not buy again. Css cheatsheet is much better implemented for what is does. Would be good if the two worked together.
I've run my own Web Design business since 1996, and still don't remember every entity code, etc. Sometimes I encounter a tricky design situation that calls for a rarely used code, or attribute - and here they are. Very nice, very useful, especially to a pro who cranks out hundreds of new sites every year. Thanks!
I would like to see more ref material on the usage of the HTML tags. Please expand the scope of this App and add some HTML tag usage examples.
This application may not be the best for beginners, but for those that have been doing web server support and are constantly helping developers debug, this application is excellent. It consolidates a lot of information from various sites I have bookmarked over the years. I especially like the ASCII conversion chart. I have debugged my fair share of URLs due to developers using the wrong codes. Excellent app.
I love the layout and the new testbed (which the JavaScript version of this also needs). My one gripe is that the search feature doesn't search the body of the topic, just the name of the topic. That goes for the JavaScript one too. Otherwise rock solid- worth the money 100% especially with the new update.
I purchased this app for use primarily as an ASCII and ISO character reference, and it's perfect for the job. I do wish I could type in the character and it would return the code. Although it appears this would require a fundemental redesign, it would add significant value. Even without this feature, however, it is still faster and more convenient than hitting up the bookmarks in my browser.
Best part is ASCII chart and character/entity charts. Sections for tags, attributes, and events are nearly useless. Searches only the section titles, which you can easily scroll through, not actual text, so there's no point for search. Disappointing.
Needs and update showing examples of everything it has, to make it alot better app. Thanks
