The object of the game is to shoot arrows at your opponent and kill them before they kill you. It's a battle against your opponent to see who can accurately judge the angle and strength of the shot to make the arrow land on your opponents body.
A head shot inflicts the most damage while a shot in the chest takes second place. Everywhere else on the opponents body inflicts less damage.
To shoot your bow, simply drag your finger across the screen and you'll be presented with a trajectory plus angle and strength (power) information. Release your finger to release the bow.
You can play Bowman against an iOS device or against a friend.
To make it even more entertaining, we have also included a bird shooting game. You'll have to shoot as many birds as you can within 1 minute and then let your friend try the same. Hopefully, you will have shot more birds than your friend.
It has many options like windy mode, disabled angle and wall block mode which you can turn on or off depending on how challenging you want it to be.

... when playing against the computer you can’t scroll across to judge how far they are away — firing blind on the first shot — and worse, every few rounds it glitches into this earthquake quivering that can’t be stopped; you have to kill the app and restart.

It’s changed a lot from when I was a kid, I use to play bird hunt for hours....but now I get minute segments. Also the arrows bounce off the birds now. :/

The game before was great, now the setting is weird. Seriously what arrow slide across the screen and can’t even have the option turn the blood red

Game if fun and I would love to play, but it gets interrupted every few minutes by the most annoying adds. I understand the developers need add revenue but this is absurd. It makes the game unplayable.
What happened to the blood and fun?

It's a very basic and cartoon game. How can red ovals of blood be so graphic you have to change it to grey? It neuters some of the fun.

Been playing this game for years. Enjoy very much. Only glitch is a commercial comes before the round is finished and by the time the commercial is finished the round of game is over. Needs to be rectified.

I understand that ads pay for the app. In my first 15 minutes of using the app, over seven minutes were commercial ads. I would love to keep the app that I am deleting it because the experience was so unpleasant
