* Controls
Drag the arrow to aim, the further you drag the more power you get.
Use the bias button to make the bowl curve to the left or right. If you need to you can also press this while you're aiming.
Points are given to the bowls of the same colour that are the closest to the jack. Any bowl that touches the jack and rolls into the ditch is still counted.

The computer has a pretty huge advantage, always going last. It would be nice if you could vary the computers skill level. Even when I played really good the computer would always sneak the last one in close to steal the round.

This game is enjoyable but it is almost impossible to beat the computer as it makes way too many almost perfect shots and also always has the last shot which is a definite advantage for it.

The computer is way too good at the game. There is also no way to judge how much force to give the ball. This seems like it would be a lot of fun to play for real.

The way it is currently set up does make it very hard to beat the computer. I've won three games out of about 30, probably would have won a few more if the computer didn't always get to go last. It would be nice if the power meter was improved a bit. Seems like there is a very small part of the meter that fits into the range that is useful. Maybe making the arrow change colors as it powers up to make it easier to judge what you're doing. I think a series of circles on the ground around the white ball would be a nice touch too. Just to better judge where the balls are in relation. I think the game is great, just a bit hard and unpolished. Can't wait to see the first update. Oh, stats...the game needs stats though I'm glad it doesn't have them now because it is very hard to win. But please don't make it too easy. Just fixing it so you took turns being last would improve the difficulty.

Come on guys - make the game a little more involved: This game could easily look like the title screen. You need larger balls (or closer view), you need realtime shadows, better physics. There is another lawn bowl game for the ipod that kills this. This is the iPAD!!! It's powerful. Take advantage. I will come back and change my review.

This is a great game. It involves patience, tactics, and subtlety. If you do not relish or have this combination of skills....move on. If you do, you will enjoy the challenge.
Real nice bowls game

I'd you're unfamiliar with bowls then it's a relaxing game played with elliptical balls which curve when rolled. The objective is to get more of your bowls closer to the Jack than your opponent. It's a very English game played late in the day designed to test your skills without raising your blood pressure. This is a very true representation of the game and so you need to play it with the understanding that this isn't a fast paced game - take your time and plan your positions carefully. I'm very impressed with this one and if you like bowls, boules or shuffle board type games then you should add this one to your game collection.
