These guys have a good selection of alcohol, but their service, deliver time, and wine descriptions (e.g. bottle volume, etc.) is horrible. My advice, find a bottle you like, then order it from Taobao. But don’t give these guys your money. 这家的确有好的酒，但是其服务、交货时间、及产品信息（如瓶子容量等）都很差。我建议用其app选想买的酒，然后从淘宝买。但是别给这家你的钱。

First, gotta admit that they have a good assortment of alcohol which you can’t find in even the high end grocery stores in Shanghai. And when I first started using them over a year ago, the delivery service was great. However, lately their delivery management (note I don’t blame the delivery guys) has gone down the tubes. There are always delays in sending orders out and I have gotten used to getting calls from dispatch to tell me about such and such delay and my order will be late. They do not seem to be scaling up very well. If there is VC money behind this company, I would reconsider investing in the next round...

Context - Finding good wine in a city like Shanghai is an absolute nightmare. You either get outrageously expensive bottles from big supermarket chains (no thanks Carrefour), or undrinkable cheap crap from 7/11. Enter BottlesXO. This app's selection is right on the money: not expensive, and very, very good (I have tried 75% of their range). Here's where it starts to get real good. The wine (or Rose, champagne and even beer) is delivered to your home, or whenever you are, in 1 hour. I once got it delivered to a park! And from my experience, it is almost always 30 minutes. AND the bottles come perfectly chilled so they can be opened right away! Then there's the bonus: the drivers delivering the bottles are, and I kid you not, the most pleasant delivery men I have ever dealt with (and I have tried tens of delivery apps in multiple countries). They literally bring you joy to your doorstep (or maybe I like wine too much also...). You can track your delivery within the app, pay by cash/paypal/credit card/wechat, earn loyally points that end up giving you frequent discounts etc... The list goes on. To say this app has changed my life (and that of my friends) would be an understatement. This is the real deal. Download it, and get that wine you know you want.
