Buggy, crashes often, weird play control

Lzlhe

I love the card game, and I wish the app was up to par. It crashes mid-game almost every time. Very glad I did not pay for any upgrades. The drag and drop controls are somewhat awkward at times, and the tutorial doesn't do a good job of explaining the mechanics. At least once, my AI opponent got a soul when it should have gotten a wound instead. Very lame.

Mediocre!

Just fix the crashing...

Interface is comparable to other card games' apps (MTG, Pokemon TCG)...just fix the crashing and it'd be awesome.

The game play is great and is excellent for understanding the real card game dynamic but it crashes too much. Needs an update

Worse than having no Boss Monster app

After 5 days of attempting to complete a game I am giving up. The app crashes every time. Luckily you don't have to spend any money to get this crashing experience.

Needs some technical fixes.

As a board game guy I am excited to see Boss Monster make its way to digital. It is a very beautifully crafted game and meets my expectations on the visual component. Game play makes sense as well, though some clarification at times could be useful. (Leveling up ability and room ability going off its not often clear which is set off first and I end up making an irreversible mistake). The biggest issue is that gameplay just halts sometimes. Usually during the Adventure phase. The minis just stop and nothing you can do will get them moving again. The game doesn't freeze, as I can interact with cards. The game just doesn't advance to the next step. I hate to rate a game based on technical issues, but I have basically paid for a broken game. Three stars to be generous as I hope they will get these glitches fixed.

It's a lot of fun when it works, but they need to address the crashing issue.

Both the free and pay version crash about every other use for me. Pretty annoying! But otherwise it is a fun game. I wish I'd saved the $7 I spent and got the tabletop version now. :/

Needs bug fixes

Once the issue with the game just halting is fixed, I'll rate it better. It also needs a save function and an undo button. When I play a spell or have a room effect go off, sometimes I press the wrong card and it messes up my entire strategy.

Promising and fresh, but rip off extra purchases with no online players!

Ankinah

I was EXCITEDLY for this game, and to experience it with players online via its famed asynchronous play. First, you purchase the game....then you find that you must purchase the "Full Game Unlock" for $5. THEN you find that there are ZERO players WORLDWIDE, so unable to play the multiplayer with the current expansion pack levels. Yes, I said it--I STILL required additional purchases even after paying the additional $5 for the "Full Version." So, I purchase the 3 extra expansions, in hopes of having wider pool of people with same setup unlocked. Nope. ZERO players online. So, I got robbed, and am unable to play. Awaiting response from developer.
