First let me say, after using this app for about a week now, I think it has a lot of potential to be an exceptional music player. I have discovered some cool features it has, such as a sleep timer, bass & treble boost, and its importation of songs over wi-if was quick and simple. However, once my songs were imported, I found it very difficult and time consuming to find certain songs I wanted to play or add to playlists. Especially since I have a large library of music. First, it’s missing a search function. I have over 1000 songs. Instead of being able to search for a song I want to hear or add to a playlist, I have to scroll through all the songs. Second, the songs are not in alphabetical order of any kind. Therefore, scrolling through 1000+ songs when I’m looking for one particular song can be frustrating. It’s like the “needle in a haystack” theory. Then as I’m searching the haystack to add songs I get interrupted by a full screen advertisement way to frequently. I don’t mind the banner ad at the bottom of the app, but don’t interrupt me with a full screen ad to frustrate me more when searching for songs to add to playlists. I have to re-rate Offline Music Player 2 stars for now due to the difficulties in finding the songs I want to hear or add to playlists. If a future app update comes with search functionality to search my songs or lists music alphabetically then I will re-rate the app with a higher rating. This music player definitely has the potential to become a 5 star app.
