Been playing for over a year, love it, can be played casually or put more time into. No need to pay, unless you want to play 24/7 then a little cash will help. Many aspects to the game and always something to do.

Fun game style. But it's about a 98% chance I'm paired with an unbeatable bases 10-15 exp levels above me. Or 2-4 HQ levels above me. What is the fun of trying to beat a base that roasts you in seconds. Why can't it be fair? Why can't I face someone the same level as me or one above. But no. It's an insanely unfair matchup every time. Even game generated match ups are tougher than reasonable. What is the problem? The gemming aspect of course. Money first- player's fun second. Supercell's motto. I will raise my rating if I see a change in matchups. But for now the game is almost no fun. Make the playing field fair and the game would be a blast.

It's a great game. I've been playing this game for more than 1 year and never felt boring. So strategic and always makes me think.

I'll be the first to tell anyone that Boom Beach starts out very fun. The idea of one upgrade at a time, the different stages such as Dr. T, GearHeart and Hammerman. All great. However, this game must receive one star simply due to extreme unbalancing issues this game has. The VP matchmaking system for multiplayer is absolutely ridiculous. It's extremely unfair. For example, you could be a player who has 400 vp, but once that VP gets to a certain point the game forces you to lose your VP by having opponents who are EXTREMELY higher than you, raid you. (I'm talking level 12 tanks against a level 6 BC) If this game made it balanced to where my defense and raids evened out with the players. It would be fun, but due to the matchmaking system after a certain point you are GUARANTEED to get raided up to 4 times a day. Not only are you guaranteed a raid, but because the VP system is sk unmatched. It can make it difficult to take out multiplayer opponents as well. Who have bases way more advanced than your own. Making it nearly impossible to collect resources to upgrade. This game was fun up until you get to around XP 45-50. Once you're there, I'd advise going into another game. All SuperCell cares about is having money in their pocket. Not the fun of gaming at all.

Been playing this game for more then a year so far and I realized its not that great anymore. No matter what base layout you have or what level your defenses are you will always get raided and lose resources. At level 50+ I still get raided by players way lower levels then me 7 times a day losing all my resources. I don't think they are actual real players but I think they are bots from super cell to keep you spending money. Iv had level 47 players attack me with max level tanks which is ridiculous. You will also get raided by players why higher level then you. And one week I can't beat players 5 levels lower then me but the next week I have no problems deleting them same players and even higher level players. Somethings fishy about this game. Don't play this.
