What happened?!

Waiting to be fixed

I have had this app since April 2012. I used to love it but now it does not upload current books by my preferred authors and keeps crashing. When is the developer going to fix these bugs and return this app to what it once was?

I love the idea of this app. It should, however, allow user to choose preferred language. It is waisting time and space listing Spanish, Japanese etc. editions. It also has wrong publishing dates and many many books are missing from author lists. It should not be so tied to google ebooks that it misses everything else. Allow me to select my language and find the missing books and I will gladly give this app 5 stars. This is for the paid app.

Crashing, foreign languages

This is an awesome app--in theory. I think I even paid for it, but it continues to crash every time I attempt to update the new books. It is also regularly updating me on books that are all in Spanish, a language I cannot read in. It is essentially unusable due to crashing and when that's not happening everything is in Spanish. I am extremely frustrated that these problems have persisted for almost a year without change.

This would be a great idea if it worked. Just downloaded a few minutes ago. It opens and then shuts down. Never had the opportunity to use it. Gave it one star because this would not post without a star. I would actually give it a minus five.

Great for following a series for an author

First, I would give this 5 stars if I could filter to show just English language releases. Secondly, this does exactly what it says. It lists your fav authors, lists heir books and shows upcoming releases...plus shows a preview synopsis of the story. Third, if like me you read books in a series this helps you identify which books are part of the series. If only it didnt become cluttered with foreign language editions for the same book.

Loved the app and have been using it to follow favorite authors. Very upset as last update leaves me unable to open app no matter what I do. Anyone else have problems?

You can add all your authors and it will show you their latest books. I don't think they send alerts when a new book is out, but you just go to the app and you can check. Awesome! Goodreads doesn't do this. I hope In the future they will allow you to select only English versions. You get all releases, even in other languages.
