Change for change sake. Not great.

I like this game a lot and have been playing for over a year. Keeps your mind active and busy, which every recent study says is a good for your mental health and agility. There’s a good range of players and I don’t have a problem not seeing opponents scores in advance or if they are/aren’t playing with Power-ups. I can usually tell from their stats if I want to play a game or invest anything coin-wise into a game. If I’m challenged by someone in the tournament area with a ginormous average, I just don’t wager any tickets and use it as a practice round. * Disclaimer: The next part is fairly lengthy and probably best suited for the hardcore players who play daily. So that’s all the good news. What I find challenging is that they make changes without any forewarning or instruction. First it was not providing auto daily spins for your daily chance to win coins or tickets. You had to find the very small icon to take your spin and it was use it or lose it. Then there was the whole change to Boggle thing, which had a different look and feel. No more spinner, the “gift” boxes, which can be coins (valuable) or tickets(less valuable). Not overly challenging to figure out, but still. NOW just recently they’ve changed the whole daily reward thing. No longer an easy to see icon at the top. Gone. Now an innocuous star that you click where the daily game resides along with 2-3 other daily requirements you have to meet. It doesn’t say anything about how you do this. After trial and error(and wasting coins) starting new games, I figured out you can use tickets in the tournament section (rather than the games section) to collect enough points (eventually) to make the daily quota. Again, just a wee bit of instruction on this would have been nice! I still like the game. The developers just need to remember to focus on the user experience.

I love the game. However, it is really cheesy that when you buy extra tokens they do not add the new total to your purchased ones the next day. It really annoys me!!!

I paid for the app to not have ads. Now at the end of every game I get a small banner ad at the top of my screen. Please stop it!

I really enjoy the game. The one thing that annoys me is the weekly leader board and the daily challenge leaderboard most often do not work on iPad Air 2.

There should be more ways to get more coins to play. You have to wait an extreme amount of time for more accumulate. You could earn coins if you win a match or trade in tickets. People have to wait for you to be able to finish a match because you don’t have the “currency” to play them. There is also no way of knowing if you are playing an even match since you can’t know how many power up each of you are using without asking. I do like that you can communicate with the other players. Really would like to be able to trade in my thousands of tickets on coins.

Good fun, but you use too many of the same letters, need to mix it up with more of the alphabet

It is discouraging to always be challenged by someone who is definitely a much higher skill level. It may be an ego boost for them. Don’t understand how their skill level shows one thing before playing and then is obviously much higher after the first round. This happens more than 75% of the time. Don’t think I am going to stick with this game.
