I use very long complex passwords. Cannot paste into the app. Will not take the time to try and transcribe on a mobile device. Renders the app useless

Bummed at Bird Creek

Capt Steve towed me in last summer, to Port Austin Harbor! He was very professional and arrived quickly! Top Notch Service and Professionalism.

Sailing and fishing on the San Francisco Bay and coastline north to Fort Ross can go from beautiful to dangerous in the same day..... having BoatUS reduces stress especially when it comes to needing non emergency assistance ..... very thankful for the late night town out of the Napa River .... got stuck in the mud just outside the chanel and then killed the battery and couldn’t motor. Great service from a very professional captain out of San Francisco who came across a very rough bay to assist. I tell all my friends to purchase BoatUS towing ..... even my kayak buddies that fish off shore! Member for five or so years.... one tow and lots of use from the app and magazine. Matthew 1974 Boston Whaler Columbia 28 sailboat Windrider 16 Kayaks!!!

West Marine and BoatUS can’t sync up membership

Terrible system. West Marine and BoatUS can’t sync up membership. I purchased membership at West Marine and BoatUS can’t find my membership in their system. Horrible app, I made multiple calls to both companies and had to return original purchase and buy it again. Let’s see if they get it right this time.

This is a bad app. You know when a company is bad when it’s app has a button to renew membership but no way to cancel, not even a phone number. Customer support has deteriorated since it was bought by geico. Tow Boat is a much better alternative.

I hope to update this review soon but so far pretty frustrated. I signed up at West Marine I Cornelius, NC last week. I’m still not able to log in and use the app as it doesn’t recognize my log in info. Called the store and was told “give it 24 hours” since an associate had entered my last name incorrectly and there were adjustments needed. Just tried to log in again and still nothing. Called the store again and was told to give it a week to update. They stated thats how long the app needs to update with my information. WTH? If this is indeed true please add this detail on the overview page so people who download no what to expect! Here’s hoping…

BoatUS is an amazing organization with a wonderful app. My boat Broke down on the 4th of July while I was in the middle of San Diego Bay. With a few easy taps on my BoatUS app I started to receive texts that help was on the way. Within an hour BoatUS had my boat safety on my trailer. Thank you BoatUS.
