Works great for medical application because it uses the Medicare formula for calculating BMI. Thanks, Tim O

I wanted to see if this calculator was accurate but since I'm 5'2" and 85 pounds it says I'm underweight. What it doesn't know is that I play tennis, I have a small frame, I have ADHD so I'm almost always jumping up and down. Not only that but I'm a growing teen. If i had to add something it would be more variables

What I like about this particular app, is that it allows one to vary the weight to see what weight brings a person into the desired range, without needing to go back and forth between pages.

Could you let us pay a buck or two, and get rid of the banner ads? (Which, conveniently, aren't shown in the sample screenshots.) Deleted.

Very inaccurate of actual bmi. Takes no information at all about your body type to determine bmi.

It does what it says. It calculates the BMI based on height, that's it. It is a tool one can use to measure progress if you are losing or gaining. If you're 5'2" and 85 lbs don't argue with an app, talk to your doctor about why you're 'underweight'. If you're not happy that your result is 'overweight' or 'obese', again, consult your doctor. An app is no substitute for the qualified medical advice of a doctor.

Use it in my clinic every day. Easy to use and immediate feedback on normal data. My only suggestion would've to include age as Medicare has different standards for healthy weights in the over 65 population.
