Bluetooth LE Terminal is an App which allows you to test Bluetooth Low Energy enabled Devices.
For example: You want to build an accessory for an iPhone or iPad with Bluetooth LE. You want to test the hardware even before you developed an app. Bluetooth LE Terminal will do exactly that.
You can:
• send decimal numbers (display as HEX or decimal value)
• send ASCII characters
• display everything you send or receive in the Terminal
• get informations about the connected device (UUID, Services, Characteristics, RSSI, ...)
• choose between characteristics to send data
• see which characteristic was used to receive data
• use the App as remote control for hardware (RC Cars, Robots, ...)
• send a UNIX timestamp to your peripheral (seconds since 1970)

Controller mode doesn’t work

I just bought the controller mode for $3. Do NOT purchase this, it is a waste of money. The transceiver immediately disconnects when controller mode is turned on, rendering this function entirely worthless.
Display bugs on device info screen after scrolling down ...

Device info disappears after scrolling and clicking an (empty) info field force-closes the app. Other than that I'm hopeful this will do what I need and more when it's fixed and I buy the add-ons I need. :) (2-star to bring attention to issues, 4~5 star overall!)

Paid for the controller add-on. Loses connection to my hm10 module when I click the controller! Waste of money so far
I deleted it immediately

Indeed, it works so well, my problem was solved in less than a minute. (Crashed) For that, the extra star.
Not as advertised

Buttons app does not work. Terminal does work, but I need button pad. HM - 10 module disconnects whenever I attempt to enter button app. Wasted much time. Developer does not respond. Can not get refund from Apple. Wasted money. Using newest Arduino and iOS 12. Have found ArduinoBlue App which has many more features. Requires a library to be added (and learned) and is FREE.

Although instructions need improvement, this app works great! Works exactly as advertised and the author is very responsive and helpful!
Controller buttons not working

I'm able to connect to my sh-hc-08, send and receive data from terminal. But once I switch to the controller panel, the app will disconnected with the bluetooth device. I spent $2+ on the controller module but it cannot be used.
