We were on a flight (southwest) in which my friend and I sat at different parts of the plane, and thought it would be useful to be able to text each other over bluetooth. It would be nice to have some form of a bluetooth texting instead of this morse code feature. Also, we couldn't get a voice conversation working over an iPhone 3GS and a 3rd Gen iPod Touch with the apple earbuds which have an inline mic, which works with skype. Also for the people that want Push Notifications, I don't think it would work unless both devices are connected to the internet, either via the cell phone network or Wifi, maybe iphone 4.0 local notifications could somehow be implemented once it is out.
I am disappointed. program without a meaning ... I have tested on two iPod Touch 2G, not work like should. (iPod's have found each other, but except Morse nothing don't work)
My iPad sees my iPhone 3GS but the phone doesn't see the laptop. Pairing doesn't seem to work properly. I'll review it again when the next release comes out.
FREE BUT USELESS AS IT DOESNT EVEN FIND THE PHONE. Update: April 25, "Developer" Still has my dollar and the app STILL DOESNT WORK1
If you have multiple iPhone OS devices, this is a cheap way to turn allow you to communicate with someone nearby. I had no problem using this from my iPad to my iPhone 3G. It does not support 1G iPhone.
