Bluegrass Country is the favorite home for fans of bluegrass music. The station started in 1967 on WAMU in Washington, DC. Today we continue to bring the best in traditional and new bluegrass artists along with roots and Americana music presented by knowledgeable hosts. Now offered by the non-profit Bluegrass Country Foundation that relies on financial support from listeners around the world.
