The most simple and intuitive app I have used to manage my email accounts

Not working app

I can’t get blue mail to work with my iPhone

I've been using this app on Samsung for over a year

Sua2385

And I love it. I waited for it to get on Apple to upgrade my iPad. It is the only useful email app that enables downloading a limited number of emails from accounts with major backlogs of emails - I use my accounts to save emails from unfinished projects and they number in the thousands. And I have four email addresses, other apps only let me use one per device. Having only a few download means it doesn't slow down the device, and yet if the Internet connection is adequate searching for a past email among the thousands used to be really fast. Unfortunately, after Apple’s latest system upgrade, despite several BlueMail updates fixing the mess Apple made, my ipad does not seem able to draw emails older than 5 days in search. I have to go to my samsung android phone to do that search. That’s the only reason for not 5 stars, while I would give 8 stars to the android version if I could! It took a while to get used to the "conversations" (groupings), and sometimes they split up in odd ways, but it does help to find things also. I only wish it was easier to delete older emails in a group when they're all included in the final email of a chain. The support folks are terrific.

Constantly “failing to sync”

Katie TX

Can’t see new messages in my inbox most of the time. I get a “failed to sync” error 50% of the time or more, whether on WiFi or my cellular data. One redeeming ability of BlueMail is the “select all” feature.

Best free email app once upon a time

Revised: clusters are gone from iOS? They finally added the ability to reorder accounts but no more clusters? Baffling! The sync issue seems to be better in the last update but I am still testing. With the omission of clusters BlueMail is just making more long time fans blue.

It once was great...

Other reviews have said it... the developers released a major update rewriting the core of the app. I have to assume there were really good reasons for this, as they had a great product with great features that have been gone for months. I contacted support shortly after and was told they would be coming back, but it’s been months now, and the app only seems to have gotten slower and crashes more - only sign of the features I knew and loved are in my memory, the app description, and maybe the Android version... unfortunately, I’ve run out of patience hoping the next update will be The One.

Mediocre

ThisNicknameIsTsken

This app works well on my android phone. On my iPad, not so much. Seems to have a very rough time properly manually fetching and keeping accurate track of my POP3 account. It also refuses to show any images in downloaded emails, where once again the same app on my android phone shows images fro the same emails just fine. I see no setting for showing or hiding images I the account settings screens despite the blue mail help site showing such a setting....nope, not in my version. Too bad, could be so much better as there seems to be a real lack of quality email client programs available for the iPad.

Used to be my favorite app

Bigbird903

Blue mail used to be ?. I’ve been using blue mail for about 4 years now between android and iOS.I was fine living with a few bugs every now and again but the removal of the photo resize function has done this app in. I hope this app gets back to being the simple, fast, intuitive, app it once.

Block spam doesn't work

Best iOS/Android email client

A random nickname 65543

I’ve tried many different email clients on my iPad (Mail, Spark, Outlook, Postbox, etc.) and BlueMail is by far the best in my opinion. Clean interface, fast reaction to push messages/notification, enough customization options (without getting silly), and multi platform support (I used iOS and Android devices). I’ve paid a few bucks for worse email clients, I can’t believe this is a free app - it shouldn’t be. Only suggestion is the need for real html text editing for sending emails and signatures (e.g., font, text size, color) - hopefully that’s in the works for the next update, and won’t lag too much for Androids ? after iOS.
