Great game

The iCandy

I loved it. Back in 1992, my friend and I wanted to make a soured up version of the classic galactic conquest. This game encompasses everything I had hoped we could build for it. Clever game mechanics. I think the variety of ships complicated it a little because real time decisions get tougher to plan with so many options, but hey, such is war right? Anyway, I liked it and it was worth the price.

Awesome app I love it!!

This app is great.I was looking for a hard space/combat game and this one fits right in!I hope that you add additional items to it.

Like "Homeworld" on the PC :)

AP Photo

I was looking for something like "Homeworld" that I used to play on the PC. This is a nice simplified version of that. I'm having fun playing, though I wish there were more info on the types of ships that I am building. Could use a ship gallery or menu. I would rate higher if it had more info. There are a few levels near the end that are impossible. Not cool.

Just the type of game I was looking for!

If you liked Galcon but wanted some more depth, this is for you. Excellent action oriented galactic tactics/strategy game. I'm hooked. It's not long, but the skirmish mode ought to keep one occupied for quite some time. Thanks guys! Keep em coming.

Too easy

Tygrantiz

The game is too easy, all you have to do is mass build fighters. The larger ships are horrible, don't even waste your time. I stomped hard mode with nothing but fighters. On top of that once you complete the game you can't even go back an play the missions you have to restart the game entirely. Skirmish is also a joke, one word fighters. Fighters shouldn't be able to touch capital ships. The game could be fun if fighters are balanced out and the chance to go back and play missions once you complete the game.

Not good

twwfcco

Great idea, interesting execution, terrible control interface, mediocre graphics. Plus the developer falls into the same trap that far too many other game developers fall into, which is to the think that the way to make a game challenging and interesting is to give the player a modest number of really easy levels to lull the player into a false sense of security, and then hit them with a really impossible level out of nowhere that leaves the player scratching their head and asking "Why did this suddenly get so hard?"

Fantastic

StoryDelver

Other than poor documentation (essentially zero) this is solid game. The key is aggressive expansion. This game seriously needs some documentation. What exactly do the upgrades do? I've played this game over and over. The random maps are good, but it would be nice if they were bigger. There's a scenario in the campaign about half way through that leads to some epic battles. Great game.

love it!

Flyingsum0

i love this game! Inwish it was a little longer but it does have plenty of replay value! def get this!

Simplified RTS Game

Wolfwoods

Challenging but fun. This game was just what I was looking for. Very simple, and easy to understand how to play. Providing a few hours of enjoyment!

Good game but it freezes

ZMrBilly

Like the game but it freezes in the higher levels. Becomes un playable. Tried to uninstall and reinstall but it still freezes. Orator games needs to fix this bug then I will try it again and hopefully give it higher rating. Ipad is current model. iOS is current.
