If you download to use you print subscription (or any other, it appears), even running latest iOS, it won’t open menu to let you sign up or login. App totally useless for subscribers.

I love reading each edition Friday and Saturday nights. What I love is having access to the magazines on my phone anywhere anytime. I’d love it if the app could let me store notes or bookmark articles for later reference- nonetheless great app!
