With a 3d environment, cute sounds and a (little) gore touch, you just have to put your finger on the screen, and stand still until the blade drops. Move too late and you’ll be cut, but waiting till the last milliseconds means to gain a better score, as it does to win more rounds in a row.

This app reminds me of the days of the Reign of Terror. Oh, those were the days. I can vividly remember the images that were conveyed into my memory when I witnessed the death of Marie Antoinette. Marie had been a horror of a queen, and she deserved the punishment she received from the national razor. After all, she had committed the ultimate transgression: being a counterrevolutionary. Upon Marie being executed, something extraordinary occurred. As the razor dropped on her head, and the blood splattered in all directions, the razor bounced up and made contact with the face of the guillotine operator. It was later discovered that this operator had been a counterrevolutionary, and soon it was discovered why the national razor had decided kill him. After all, the reason was the same as the slogan of the revolution: The Guillotine Knows.

Not a lot if pain, I would guess, except if it's just your figure. Ouch! I love the app, and I was gonna write everything Jacob wrote, but he beat me to it. This tool for making death was such a crazy expression of that culture at that time, not withstanding the marketing for it that must have been prevalent too. War profiteers aren't just a current phenomenon. I must investigate this history further. Humans are insane. ; > )
