- designed to teach young patients about specific blood disorders and diseases, in this case, leukemia, sickle cell anemia, and idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP)

This project was developed by Michael Westbrook as partial fulfillment of his masters thesis requirements in the Department of Engineering at Norfolk State University (NSU), Norfolk, VA. The thesis director is Dr. Rasha Morsi and members of the committee are: Dr. Jun Wang and Mr. Bratislav (BaTo) Cvijetic. Research was conducted at the Creative Gaming and Simulation Lab at NSU. Impressive game!
MedicOfCanterbury

Love the idea of gameplay simplicity and an idea complexity. Cancer is a very sensitive subject that everyone has been affected by, either directly or indirectly through someone close to us. And this game is as educational as it is fun to play. I highly recommend this game.

Best game ever!!!!!!!!!

Wow! I really appreciate the fact that someone has taken the time to help PPL understand blood disorders through a child's view. When I saw this game, I had to hold back the tears of pure joy. I'm going to play it everyday, even at work and show it to my coworkers so they can understand and learn from this game, too. This game should be in all the schools.

What a great game for awareness!
RMBEM

This is a great game for kids with blood disorders. There seems to be a bug in high score. Please correct. But what a nice idea to help support children with these diseases. :-) love the idea that the game plays as the medicine works in the body! Nice updates to the high score. Looking forward to seeing levels for all the different games.

Fun and educational!
