Disappointed

I need to track thyroid test results. Labs on this app do not allow a person to add labs.

Nice for recording blood test results!

I like this app! I was looking for something to track my various thyroid blood test results over time, and this does the trick, even though the tests were not included in the default. I was able to add the tests that I wanted to track pretty easily (TSH, Free T3, Free T4, antibodies, plus some others like Vitamin D and Iron). Also, it was easy to reorder the list in my preferred order. I also like that I can change the ranges to reflect more optimal values, and there is a generous field for notes if I want to let myself know that I changed it and what the lab values were, and even why I changed it, or why I want to test for that item, or what goals I may have, etc. I would like if it was easier to view the data that was put in, in table form within the app. Also, it would be nice if the default was to save new entries, because several times I entered a new item or some data only to exit a field and find that my work was gone. Oops! Also, I wish I could remove some of the fields with hospital/cost etc because that is not what I’m tracking and most other parts of the app are customizable. Anyways, thanks for making this app!

Narrow the focus to increase functionality

It is an ambitious app... perhaps a bit too ambitious. It is ostensibly to track and graph your blood test results, but it also wants to be a weight loss/diet/exercise tracker as well as medical expense tracker. It comes with 19 tests pre-entered, but it is kind of an odd collection in my opinion. It includes 8 of the 15 tests normally included on a CBC. If they were going for 'just the basics' why include MCV/MCH/MCHC?!? It also has 4(+1) somewhat randomly selected tests off a normal Metabolic Panel: AST, ALT, Protein and Albumin. As well as 4 of the 5 tests from a Cholesterol Panel- missing only the VLDL test. The (+1) from the Metabolic Panel is the 'blood sugar' (aka glucose) test, but for some inexplicable reason it is all the way at the bottom and preset to 'hidden' along with HbA1c(the test for diabetic control). Of all the tests on here these two, along with the cholesterol test, would be the tests most likely to be tracked by people also interested in the diet/exercise/weigh loss aspect of the app. YES, it is possible to manually add additional tests, BUT if you plan to add more than a couple, it will be a very time consuming process. Additionally, I could find no way to re-order or group the test list. (So if I added the VLDL test it would not be with the other cholesterol tests, but alone up at the top of the list.) Obviously there are a zillion blood tests out there, and people have different needs. Perhaps your 'in app purchases' could include different test panels 'Complete Thyroid Panel', 'The Auto-immune Panel', and so on. There are already plenty of weight loss trackers and expense trackers in the app store. Despite the name, blood test tracking appears to be the afterthought instead of the main focus. In it's current incarnation, I think it will be easier to just use the spreadsheet app.

Blood Test Graphing

This is a very good app for displaying trends in blood tests. Works very well.

Very nice app!

I looked hard for an app like this that can track and graph my blood test results, and I was very happy to find this. It is exactly what I want! I only have one request. Is there any way to sync my entries in my iPhone to the app on my iPad? I don’t want to have to enter my labs each time on both devices - much too time consuming to do. Thank you for this app!

Almost perfect

Never@Home_Mom

This app is almost perfect once I found my way around. The interface isn’t as good as it could be - but that isn’t what I need to view. I can deal. What would make it a 5 star app? Being able to export the data file for use on any of my devices (I’d even pay $1.99 for it), or just plain iCloud syncing. But I need to enter them via my iPad mini because that is what I take to appointments now, not my 12.9.

Great App

This does so much!!! I downloaded it primarily to track my hematocrit and blood protein levels as I go and donate plasma, but it appears pretty comprehensive on its abilities to track various tests! I didn’t give it 5 stars only because it feels like it needs something, though I can’t quite put my finger on what it is that is needed.
