Great action and live play. Just wish GLU would credit me the rubies I paid for. Nearly $18 worth...no help from Glu's help page. One automated email response...lame. Games cool though....

Don't just don't...

The thing that angered me the most was the awful transition between the enemy animations. You block, hit them a couple times, they block the last one and there is nothing you can do once they block it but Dodge, Parry, or Block with shield. Some of the attack animations are instantaneous and can't be defended against which is very unfair! The game overall looked like it was well built but I think they were too focused on graphics than actual tactics. I doubt they did any research on sword fights besides the vocabulary. It really was a let down because I was expecting a good realistic sword fighting game and I'm not talking about aesthetics. A parry is not you just attacking the same spot they are attacking and clashing. A parry is maneuvering your sword in ways to act as a shield. It should even be able to prevent stabbing which I'm yet to figure out how to defend against in this game. They should add a button that if held, turns into a joystick which can be used to move the sword around to defend. I personally don't recommend this game because they're are parts that are not built on skill but are built on the armor you have or the weapon you have. A good way to make a skill based game is to make sure a player, if skilled enough CAN get through the ENTIRE GAME without upgrading they're armor
