Ok Idea, Poor Execution

This game clearly knows what it’s trying to achieve - running a restaurant - but the design is buggy, imbalanced and annoying. Every level only has 3-4 customers, and if you progress as the game wants you to there’s 2 or 3 tutorials PER LEVEL where it walks you through the entire process of preparing a dish, which was helpful the first time but quickly became very annoying. The aesthetic is a complete rip-off of Minecraft, literally stealing the character models and animations directly and using an ugly pixelated style for everything else. The images that prompt different recipes are too small to tell apart and the pull up menu that shows a recipe is not only hard to parse at a glance but in one case the button for it made it physically impossible to click on a customer and finish a level. Every time the game tutorializes you (which is again, the majority of the game for the first 10+ levels) any progress you made on another dish literally disappears and you lose the ingredients that you then have to pay in-game currency to restock. If you click on any ingredient out of order or make any mistake throughout the entire process of making a dish then you have to throw all of it away and start over or else the game will not let you progress. And on top of this because the levels are so short and tutorial packed you make 3x as much money from clicking on one 30 second ad than you do from playing the game(and this is on top of the ads it that already interrupt the experience). The more I listed out these problems the more I realized how much of a waste of time this game really is: it’s Minecraft asset flip crammed with ads, bugs, and bad mechanics. This isn’t worth your time.

This game is really fun if you’re bored. I really suggest this game, it’s pretty cool that it looks like Minecraft. I really like that you can take customers orders and unlock new items. This isn’t boring like other games, you actually have to make everything from scratch. I really suggest this game, hope I was helpful!
