This game was wonderful when it first came out, it was a good coding game, a nice community, and people weren’t toxic and weird. I abandoned the game a couple years back, and came back to it... it’s a mess... The whole community is toxic, people are quote on quote “hacking” the game by adding weird textures and features, and people are getting girlfriends and boyfriends. Yeah, you heard me people are online dating, and these people are kids?. So basically this game is a mess. And this ERROR 505 IS KILLING THE COMMUNITY Number 1. The community The community is toxic. People post inappropriate models and worlds which would be okay if the whole community wasn’t mostly made up of children. People also online date, they pretend to be jocks or hotties older than the 9 year olds they are and ask to be dated and pretend they have dates, just a note. Also there are “wars” people have by publishing worlds and models, kinda weird. And people curse. There is another portion of the community which are the sexual freaks. Basically they post models and worlds of inappropriate things to scare children, since most of the people that run these accounts are adults knowing that a huge portion of the people playing these games are children under the age of 9. Also there are kids constantly posting models or worlds saying something like “If I don’t get 1000 followers in 4 hours, I’m quitting Blocksworld” or “I’m not popular in this game so I’m taking my life” which, they aren’t true and for attention. Doing this puts people in a weird position where they don’t know if this person is going to do as they say they are going to do because they aren’t popular in the game, or they are attention seekers. It can actually scare someone... And the developers seem to not care because worlds that are inappropriate seem to be popping out left and right. Number 2. The developers I’m not directly attacking the developers, but what’s going on are they slacking off? The game hasn’t been updated and if you are going to make a mobile game, you should try to update it because, well, you can never release a game that is fully polished and has no glitches and flaws. The developers did this is the early stages of the game since they kept popping out updates like no tomorrow I’ve heard. But for about a year the game hasn’t been touched. The whole Blocksworld community is concerned and quite angry. I mean, it’s been a year. Of course something could be happening that we don't know of, so I’m not going to criticize that to harshly. There are also a large number of glitches and bugs. This game it DYING. Everyone can see that it is. No one can publish any new world that we make and it’s the same thing with models. I believe it’s called error 505. I don’t think the developers even care about the game at this point because people have been contacting them and they don’t seem to acknowledge that the game’s whole purpose, to upload worlds and code, is broken. Which if you want to make a game about, for example a clicker game, you have to make sure you can click. Or, is it even a clicker game? Maybe this game finally has the time to rest and the developers abandoned it, we will never know. But all I want to say is, this game at this point is a piece of trash and is dying. I hope the developers can fix it. Number 3- The things they tried to fix Let’s talk about the things they tried to fix, how about the publishing worlds with no effort. This is extremely flawed. To fix this, the developers let you publish a world that had to have the required amount of blocks and coding to publish it. Let’s take 7 blocks and lines of code as an example. If you publish a world with 5 blocks and 3 lines of code the system wouldn’t allow you to publish it. You get what I’m trying to say now? Let’s take another example and possibility, someone can easily take 7 blocks and drag it on the world and add 7 lines of the same code and publish the world, effortlessly. This isn’t a good solution for this problem, maybe let the user publish the world and have some employee analyze it to make sure that the user put a decent amount of effort into the world. That’s a suggestion though. Also the publishing too many worlds “fix”, we now have to pay the Blocksworld currency to publish a world or wait a couple of hours to, I guess that’s a decent fix, if it didn’t cost 50 coins to do it!!! If Getting those coins are pretty hard to be honest, well at least for me. So maybe put it at like 15 coins. Number 4- Simple Gameplay The game is just overall, too simple. It’s a little too easy in my opinion. I get that this game is aimed and targeted towards children, but maybe you should just add some advanced features, like for new players start introducing the mechanics and then start giving them the good stuff, or the advanced blocks, textures and coding. Also try to teach new players and even experienced players more coding, I’m experienced and have played the game for years and even I don’t know all of the coding! I know what variables are but how do we use them in coding! So start introducing more stuff. Final verdict- I think the game has a nice concept, it’s fun and gives people the opportunity to great their own games and be creative. It’s a little too simple, and the community is toxic. There are WAY to many bugs and glitches that should be patched up because it’s affecting too much of the gameplay and the whole concept of the game itself. Because the community is toxic and all of the bugs and glitches, I’m getting that the developers are starting to abandon the game and are LAZY with a capital L. People could be toxic, but I’m talking about the worlds that are getting published that are handling serious subjects and are able to not get reported. 4 final words THIS GAME IS DEAD And I wanna say it has hope and has time to be saved, but I’d be lying...

I used to play this game a lot in 2013-2016. It was a place where everyone could build games freely. People even made series, competitions, and more. However, the game slowly started getting worse as Linden Labs restricted more and more parts of the game so that you could only access these things if you paid money. I just reinstalled the app to find some shocking things. Originally, it only took a few minutes to publish a game. Now, unless you pay money, you must wait 8 hours to publish the game. You must pay extra money if you want to make more than 400 worlds (this may not seem like a big deal, but worlds can rack up fairly quickly if you are a regular player). These and other new restrictions cause the game to lose everything that made it fun. On top of everything, because of the new features added to Blocksworld, more and more creators have left the game. This means that there are less people to play and connect with, which was one of the most fun features of the game in the first place. Now that Blocksworld has been taken over by In-App purchases and memberships, and that there are less people playing the game and less people creating, Blocksworld went from a popular and fun platform to a money hungry app (it’s not fun enough to be considered a game) where kids can have limited resources unless they beg their parents to pay 100+ dollars for a yearly membership so that they can have a perk that used to be a regular part of the game. Linden Labs, if you are reading this, the reason I gave this game one star is because you turned something special into something I never want to return to. If you want to make a popular game, then get rid of these awful in-app purchases, memberships, and perks. Nobody is buying.

This game is good in all but I can’t publish games or sell models for some reason.i can’t sell models because it says i need WiFi and I already have WiFi and I can’t publish a world because there is no publish button.i give this game 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Unfortunately, this game has turned into a petty excuse for social media. It is not a “friendly community” as the Linden would like us to think. Honestly, it’s enough for a child to fall into depression. Blocksworld is also extremely glitchy and there’s not much for you to do(unless you like to make boring, glitchy and simple games that make no sense, which they practically force us to do) I guess it could be salvaged, but you would have to change the entire game. Linden, please fix this.

I’m a veterinarian player that’s got a new phone and started again. The huge set back is that I can’t publish anything. Worlds and models. Can you guys fix this? It’s asking to connect to Internet but I am, I’m using both WiFi and Cellular data. Plz fix this!
