Worthless

SJ-Yama

Comes up as phone sized on iPad. Fail. Viewers beware: When connecting external video to iPad or iPhone, Blizzcon content is downstream protected and results in a blank screen with audio only from this app. From the website, it just errors out. If you’re using iOS, you won’t be able to view BlizzCon on an external TV or monitor. Period. It works fine from a Windows laptop.

No iPad Support

Carlfishy

Opened the app on my iPad and was immediately transported back to 2010 when the login screen appeared as a postage-stamp-sized blob stuck in portrait mode.

Stuck in the past

Lintaglen

Want to see the panels of 2018 that you missed because you wanted to watch something else? Too bad... we only have the 2017 videos to view.

Audio won't work on some videos

Brentster911

Audio won't work on some videos. Tried watching Heroes of the Storm What's Next, nothing to be heard. No subtitles. Even when you switch off silence on your phone, it still doesn't work (which supposedly was a solution).

Update: you can now log in

Jadan127

UPDATE: New version is now able to log in. Original Review: Can’t log in at all. When you try you get a cryptic bit of code and an error message. Kinda passed I spent real money for a virtual ticket and I can’t even use it. Fix this now!

Hire iOS developers

redshirt8188

Blizzard chooses not to invest in apps teams that are advocates of the iOS platform and knowledgeable of it. They insist on building a one size fits all app across platforms, and the quality level shows. This app does not fully support iPad. Watching video is a nightmare. Current position is not saved. Trying to use the slider to get to the right position with their terrible custom video UX is impossible. You cannot start watching on your phone and then handoff to your iPad and pick up where you left off. The app does not track what you’ve watched. There’s no easy way to pick up where you left off. The list goes on. Do better.

Twitch is easier

hughmclellan

Twitch has better UI then this app and chat interaction. Though this app does have good information about lineups and the league in general.

LOVE BLIZZARD

devilgodes

Best gaming company ever

Obsolete

scruffdawg

If you are thinking it will give you info and streams about Blizzcon 2019, nope. Apparently Blizz has decided to not support their own app, mediocre though it was even when it worked.

It does airplay but...

Eferis898989

It likes to show what you didn’t select. I pick the diablo IV unveiled video and what am I watching? The cosplay contest. But when I switch back to my phone screen I get diablo IV unveiled. Back to airplay on my TV and I’m watching cosplay again.
