Some users have had limited success trying to connect via SSH2 first, but that doesn’t work for everyone. If you’re looking for an app that will allow you to scp files, look elsewhere. This is an issue that has plagued Blink for over TWO YEARS and they still haven’t addressed it.

I’ve tested almost everything out there in terms of SSH clients for iPad, especially with the Magic Keyboard. Blink is the winner — great support for SSH & Mosh, very speedy text performance, and works very well with the Magic Keyboard, including key repeat in Vim. Great work!

I used panic prompt 2 for a while, and it was fine, but the cursor was often difficult to find and the font selection was limited. Blink has more configuration options, so I can get a nice clear font and a blinking cursor. Hooray! Other than that -- it is a ssh client, what do you want?

Worth the price just for the fact it persists ssh sessions while you switch between apps, such as to research something in Safari. With other ssh client apps your session gets closed after a few seconds and you have to start all over. Not with Blink!

The only reason I went to blink.sh was to get scp for my iPad. Come to find out that SCP is not functional and has been a known issue for well over two years.

In field where’s many competitors Blink Shell stands out in every possible aspect. Simplicity of Blink is the key thing that keeps me here, and it’s my prime tool for the last 8 months. Pleasure to work with it. :)
