As long as there is money to spend there is fun to be had. It gets more and more expensive as you progress in levels. Players spend in upwards of $5,000-$10,000. Beware if you have a gambling addiction! This game is very addicting and developers are extremely effective in marketing to players. Average low-level players spend $500-$1,200.

So I’ve been playing for almost 3 years now. They release city skins, cool. Bought the first round had some decent stats. Next year rolls around and they release more of the same buff type but more of a boost. I go to look at the stats on the skins and the old ones are now the same stats as the “newer” ones. It’s strait crap. If that was the case of them being the same I would not have bought the other 2 city skins. This is for both the research skins and Halloween skins. So be careful. Whoever took over this and is releasing updates is screwing it long term players
Money grab and time waster game!

At the beginning it was a fun game. Such as you used to be able to revive troops for rss and very few gems. Now it costs an insane amount of gems!!! They argue that it cost the same as before. But they are wrong. You can only use gems now, before you were able to add rss along with very few gems. You can farm rss, but only farm minimal gems every 24 hours on a max gem mine. So revive update is a money grab period!!!! Plus they update to often. To many updates and always to add more things to cost you more $$$. Never an update to help the free player out. I have put in 3 years with this game and I find I can never save gems like I used to. It has also become a "Time Waster" game. You want a game that will take all your time away from real life. This is it. Because it's the only way to get anywhere. Time to retire. Of course the developers will comment on every review that is negative. That players who have played for years are wrong. But players are not wrong and have dealt with every aspect of this game. Like their comments are going to make everything better. All comments left especially by players like me are truth. I would pass on this game and find a new game that isn't out to grab players money to play. My suggestion would be to go back to the beginning. Before all the money grabbing garbage you all added.

They have done a lot of changes to the game. I played it last year it cost a lot over time and the prices for gems didn’t make much since. A lot more interactive gameplay also communicate with your alliance is really key. It’s getting better real honesty and they care enough to listen to customers with solutions not just complaining.

Was great at the beginning, now it’s all about money! If your not spending tons of it don’t expect to be winning. Just came out with update T5 troops, great until you find out you have to spend money to get them. Among other things!! Just isn’t fun anymore because stuff like that I don’t mind spending some money but it has got ridiculous. Not a game to start playing unless you have $1000’s to spend on!
